If we lower our confidence, we won't dissapoint ourselves so much.

Even tho I knew I could do better at SS1, I was happy with my placing. I'm gonna lower my confidence for SS3, because I lowering my expectations makes me feel better about myself after I've seen my results. That means, I'm not planning on any upsets and I probably won't place higher than 9th unless I get a lucky bracket. I'll probably get 13th.

Amber one time I got Pizza Hut, locked myself in my room and practiced Falco from 10PM until 5AM, and when I woke up and tried practicing I couldn't do any of it.

That's a weird mindset, mine's the complete opposite. If I care about a tournament and I'm playing in it, my mind and feelings will not allow me to feel ok with anything besides first place.

My Brawl philosophy is, whenever you lose, you gain knowledge, and whenever you win, you used that knowledge to its best.

It's a win/win situation.

Edit: I don't take things [tournaments and such.] overly serious, because competitiveness really does impair peoples ability to get better.

My cousin Faye went to Evo, and she's not any good at Street Fighter, but she wants to get sponsored and hit up the next one. :]

Waaaaaay off, but it's something I'd definitely love to see, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way :D

lol at you losing to him. ive been giving him that ganon **** for like a year now. He probably knows the matchup very well by now

but srsly, as good as he is, compared to him, Im the commander-in-chief.

youre gonna take a lot of beat downs from a number of people down here, if your story is true.

Sweet. Tell her, 1. That she needs to come down here to Rochester, so we can power level the shiz out of her. 2. We will all cheer for her on live stream, and 3. I want to know if she has a boyfriend. ;)

Definitely. I actually want to meet your whole family since apparently theres at least 1 person that plays like, every fighter, which is amazing.

heyo! finally got settled in to my temp NH home

Also, you DEFINITELY need to learn to swallow your pride, be quiet and take and use advice when its given you.
I do I have a whole book dedicated to swallowing my pride. I was just stating how I feel about melee. So calm down.
da-yum!

here. . .

cause **** is looking mad hella salty right about now . . .
. . . . . . <3's
what have you done to me kyle? =D

anywho. . . . so it looks like its confirmed that Im most likely going to be able to get over to APEX now

quick question though, will you guys be driving thru utica on your way there? or be going through another highway?
if you do go through utica and there's room I can arrange to meet you guys in utica and help pay for gas n stuff. . . . if not I can just meet yall there by getting there via bus.

ps. foy n kyle, sorry for not calling you guys after I got back. . . I got stuck with my aunt after i arrived in syracuse and found myself in the middle of a random 2 hour history lecture on indian clans and was dead tired afterwords. (I may or may have found myself swimming somewhere in between) feel free to call me anyways sometime tmw and well make up for it =p

pss. Miss ya guys, hope to see yall soon =D

Yeah I've been playing a lot lately. I have two friends at work that are into Smash so we've been playing a lot lately - Good stuff. I'm starting to like playing as Peach, although Ness is still who I feel most comfortable with.

hey yo, I wouldnt mind traveling with brawl players, dude. . . thats no big deal

however, i will admit, if foy is getting there another way, I might just go with him if there is room

are you all staying the same room in brunswick? and are you splitting a room or living with a smasher?

they say that deadline for getting cheaper rooms are the 20th, so would like to set something up with you guys if it has not yet already been decided. and im sure WC joon (mine and foys friend) would be interested in splitting too. He says he's most likely coming too =D

In other news I will likely be getting a new car. Legit.

Also, get at my new Falco combos. **** is so free flowing. Foy's use of Uair is gay, as is his magical knowledge of the Falco v. Sheik Match-up. Kid never plays that match-up but knows it so well somehow.
