This is basically a rant blog about some of the things I've seen people my age do that I think is stupid/annoying.

- Girls who think that starving themselves so they look like skeletons makes them attractive.

- Guys who pretend to be gay by licking each others shirts and trousers. Yeah, because gay people blatantly like licking people's clothes....

- The held belief that anyone above the age of 16 who's a virgin is a freak.

- People who hit you for no reason whatsoever.

- Sarcastic thumbs ups.


There are more, but if I listed them all I'd be here for hours. Basically, I hate how a small minority of teenagers give the rest of us a bad name.

Cliques
Rich kids think they can get anything (especially the ones that throw tantrums in stores)
Stealing your stuff or food at lunch and expecting you not to care
Drugs and Alcohol being "cool"
Humor at other's expense is just not fun..."friends" that spend all day making fun of you aren't "friends"
Braggarts. Can't stand 'em
Gay and Racist jokes. Not funny.

Those are some of my big hates on teens, along with your list which was great.
Teens can be real a-holes. Especially when they TP your ****ing house at Halloween and expect you to laugh it off and clean it up yourself.
Some of them are nice though...some of them.

Around 10% My friend (who is a girl) is slim, but she's isn't anorexic or anything.

Around 30%, some of them pretend to hump each other...

Around 5%, this one girl slapped me cause I accidently took a step into the wrong bathroom.

Around 70%, cause we usually do it towards morons or people who need to be "duhed" at.

Presumably it's for a laugh. Can't think of any other reason. I know they aren't actually gay because I've seen their girlfriends.

They also played strip poker in school once. The thing is that it's an all boys' school... Fortunately they didn't take their boxers off while doing it.

I wholly agree.

Basically, society sucks, kids suck, teens suck, adults suck, parents suck.

Parents suck, creating a horrible society. Then they also have kids and 90% of them don't know how to prevent them from being obnoxious brats who get everything they want and will throw tantrums if they don't get what they want. Those kids grow into teens who are even worse but then decide to rebel against their horrible lives of getting everything and do drugs and alcohol. Then they grow up into adults who are of the same caliber, who become parents even crappier than their own.

...Call it pessimistic if you must, but it's true.

It's already not true for some people.

But there is nothing you can do to fix some of the stupidity, ignorance, elitism, etc. in society. Society is too massive to be able to change with the comparatively small number of people who would be willing to try and fix it. There are too many things ingrained in society to fix.

Oh sure, people have worked to stop racism and the like, but they don't tackle the whole problem. They tackle racism, not the elitist stereotyping as a whole. People tackle ignorance on the subject of various diseases, not the overall ignorance that's present.

People will almost always be ostracized for being different, for example. And if you ask me, parents have gotten worse over the past century, not better.

Too few people see the whole picture and not just the one specific aspect that affects them.

Anyways... I hit people I know for no reason (someone was reading this while I was typing it and I hit them... he said he saw it coming). It is kinda fun... I just hate it when they rebel and team up on me.

Anyways, I am very Christian. If you look in the Bible God says that sex= marriage... <period.
So that is why I have saved myself. Isn't easy though. @-@

BTW, another thing that I hate about society is that if you talk about something that people don't know about you are automatically labeled a know it all geek. -_-
That and people's choice in music deal with sex (believe it or not I actually liked Cyclone), their social lives ARE sex and their conversations are all about... SEX!
I seriously think this generation is addicted to orgasms more than drugs or alcohol. -_-

Okay, never seen this before, and my group are pretty up there on the pseudo-gay scale. Mostly just stuff to get a laugh/reaction.

Premarital sex isn't overwhelmingly condemned by the bible. Usually when the bible talks about sex before marriage the punishment is marriage. However, it doesn't even necessarily lead to marriage as the girl's father can make refuse the marriage and force the man to pay for his daughter's virginity. Hmmm, prostitution? Cases about this seems to specify virgin women. There are also strict laws about a woman pretending to be a virgin when they are not while getting married and the punishment for this can be her life.

Moving to the new testament you can make an argument that it speaks openly against premarital sex but Sola Scriptura arguments for premarital being accepted behavior have been made before. It is possible to have a literal interpretation of the bible while still thinking that premarital sex isn't a sin given the circumstances.

Things about teenagers that annoy me?
Teenagers that do drugs on a regular basis, have sex with various partners, lie on a regular basis and then try to play moral superiority to me based on my religious views.
Teenagers who try to use sola scriptura arguments who have read less of the bible than me and continue to proclaim these arguments even after the idea is shot down.
Teenagers who don't think its worthwhile to pay attention to politics and the sciences.
Teenagers who don't think they can make a difference.
Teenagers who ask for your opinion and then get pissed at you for giving it to them. This is something I deal with on a regular basis.

Yeah, I suppose it is annoying. I never had to deal with it much though.

Here are a few things I don't like about some of the people in college:

1) Drinking games and thinking drugs and alcohol are the ****.

I went to this huge party my freshman year. It was my first party with alcohol. I watched as all the friends I got from band camp started smoking and drinking away. They got REALLY drunk and they all started acting like *******. I said "Eff this" and took one of my drunk friends home. I really don't understand why people have parties like this. People gave me crap about leaving early and having to be a designated driver. I just felt so angry at what was going on, I couldn't stay.

2) Girls who go out with douschebags and later say they hate douschebags
3) Those god**** pharmacy kids who complain about how horrible their chemistry class is
4) Seriously...I think the people at my college are dumber than the people at my high school.
5) Tools/prettyboys who try to score with every ditzy/good-looking chick they can find.
6) The girls dumb enough to go out with those tools/prettyboys
7) Good, moral people who give that up to fit in with other college students. (Start drinking, having sex)

I watched as one of my friends reluctantly tried her first bottle of alcohol at a big party (that party I was talking about), she said she'd only have 1, but kept going and freaked out when she had a buzz. And she's been drinking since then. It's a little disappointing and sad.

I don't say "People in general suck" because it "sounds cool". "Cool" is one of the very reasons I hate most people.

I don't literally approach every person I meet with the idea that they suck. But I've decided that, as a race, people generally suck, and there's really nothing narrow-minded about that considering that there are certainly people I'd exclude from it. I'm not stereotyping people as a whole, as it would be quite hypocritical of me, given that stereotyping is another reason I hate most people.

To avoid this problem altogether, I generally just direct my hate at society, seeing as that's what influences people to be the way they are.

...I know I probably sound really obnoxiously pessimistic and emo in this thread, everything I'm saying just seems to be reading that way to me, so I'm sure it's reading that way to you as well. Just know that...I'm not really expressing it in the best way.

It's mainly because they scream their lungs out and act like the brats they probably are and what gets me is that the parents don't do anything when their whiny brats are hollering. WHY DON"T PEOPLE DISCIPLINE THEIR KIDS!? It would most definitely behoove the parents do beat their kid's ***es with a belt a few times.
