Good day my fellow Zeldas! As some of you might already know, few people, myself included, started working on with a project to create a Zelda Community Combo Video, CCV for short. This is a thread dedicated for that project. Here's where gameplay clips for the video can be submitted, questions can be asked and opinions/suggestions can be given.
Here's a short explanation for those of you who don't know what a CCV really is, others can just skip this part. Essentially, a combo video is a collection of the best and most amazing kills and combos, edited to play along with some kind of background music. How a community combo video differs from a regular one is that it doesn't showcase the best moments of just one person, but everyone from the community in question. In this case means everyone who plays Zelda. It'll feature multiple players and bring together all the best moments experienced with Zelda, not just by one player, but everyone.
Now, with that done, here's where the fun starts: it's time to collect the material for the video! Here's the situation in a nutshell: in order to create an awesome combo video we need awesome Zelda clips. A lot of them. And where will we get these clips from? From the community itself of course! So, do YOU want to have YOUR Zelda and YOUR name show at the final product? If so then here's what you need to do:
The video has moved on to the editing phase. Gameplay clips are not accepted any more.
1. Find an interesting gameplay clip starring Zelda.
Obviously, the top priority is on succesfully landed combos and strings of hits. However, all other kinds of amazing or funny clips are also very much wanted. They can be anything from amazing DI survival to simultaneus spotdodge dancing to perfectly timed LK sweetspot to... well, pretty much anything at all, as long as it's amazing. Famous players or total nobodies, singles or doubles matches, it doesn't matter. The only rules are the following:
2. Submit the clip for us to use.
There are three way for you to do this:
3. It's done!
Now your clip will be taken into consideration when making the video! If the clip is found impressive enough it just might find its way into the final video. It really is that easy.
So, what are you waiting for? Start submitting those combos already!

The match must be between human players. No computers involved. All players must know the game and be playing at least semi-seriously. Nobody wants to watch Zelda juggle a person who doesn't know what airdodging is.Offline matches only. The situation must not be framed. Only real "combos" from real matches.Regular Brawl only. Texture hacks are okay, but anything that changes the gameplay or the mechanics of the game is not. This also means no Brawl+, BBrawl, Brawl- or whatever other brawl hacks there is.The picture quality must be at least decent. If you have the clip on your Wii and need help recording read on.
There are three way for you to do this:
Give a download link for the video you want to submit. Remember to mention the name of the Zelda player. Also, if the clip you want to submit is a part of a whole match mention the specific moment of the video you're suggesting.Give a link to a youtube video with the clip. The same rules as above apply.Send me a replay with the clip you want to submit. If you have a Brawl replay but no recording equipment I can capture it for you. This thread will telll you everything you need to know: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=266067. Just mention that it'll be for the combo video, tell me the name of the Zelda player and give some indication of the moment you want to submit (stock, precentage situation) and you're good to go!
