  • I just want to pop in and say Naucitos is a huge scrub.

(Don't fret when I say that. We know each other very well XD)
Naucitos is the best Yoshi out there right now, vBrawl or Brawl+

Along with Delta-Cod of course, who doesn't play Brawl+.

I'm not the best, but I placed 9th for my first Brawl+ tournament, out of 45 entrants. Decent still.
But I came to you because I'm impressed with your skill on using Zelda.

It's like the vBrawl thread, I need to exhibit examples of characters at top levels of play. If you lose, there's nothing to go on.

    Zelda OP link please?

Sorry if I came across as demanding, I just want to showcase your blatant skill level.
Just go look at my thread and the rules I presented for them.

Stop getting snippy with me, I stated that both parties MUST show clear understanding of their character (so it has to be a good match, aka not against scrubs) in order for it to be archived.

    You know what? Forget it.
    Actually no.

You have videos archived because I recognized you are a formidable opponent.

But for the record of showcasing specific character potential, I need videos of you winning.
    Bandit.

Link me some videos of your Brawl+ Zelda so I can archive it. I only have videos of you losing.

    Thanks.
This might be a "Falcon GSH d-throw knee" scenario with Zelda's d-throw. G-regulate was furious about the massive nerfing of the move, and I can understand why he'd be angry. But... the combo did work even at the time, with DI, in a certain window against light floaty characters. Just goes to show how nuanced throws like that can be (I have a HolyNightmare story with Rob's d-throw nair that is fairly similar). It will likely require really excellent timing, like many of these really tight combos.
It is technically possible (but extremely difficult) to followup DI on reaction off Zelda's d-throw, since its a static 19 frames of lag. I'm gonna look into that move again so I can map out what may be possible if the opponent does or does not DI. Zelda's really tricky in regards to fixing throws because her followup moves kill extremely early and have massive damage output.
First off, don't worry about clogging my PM box. I want to hear from you. Nayru's love not reflecting projectiles is something that obviously was not intended, and I wasn't even aware of. I will make sure this is looked into and a suitable fix made, we don't need to revert to vBrawl Nayru's.

I'll keep you posted. Thanks again, and seriously... PMs... look at my awesome red name. I have a massive inbox now :D
Yes, that guy's an idiot. I'm glad we feel the same way about Zelda, because I really don't see any need to change her at this point.
In the Zelda+ thread I posted exactly what I require from people requesting changes... if they want it to actually have a chance of happening. I strongly suggest that if you want a changed Zelda, you work with Andarel and whoever else knows what they're talking about. Its not impossible, and its the only way I'll consider non-essential changes at this point.

Your Zelda thread just forced me to take advantage of the "ignore list' for the first time... ugh. Check out the fail. It's pretty awful... my head hurts now.
Your post in the beta thread is the only thing that kept me from exploding in a way that would have gotten me infracted.

    Thanks :)
I did it because I was bored, and Zelda boards are easy to troll.

    I also don't give a **** about my title as a moderator.

Thanks for taking the bait, it was fun while it lasted.
