Probably very few people will care about this post, but can't do much about It so oh well.

since I was bored I decided to pick up my phone, totally and legally use Max in Spain through the Konami Code ok nah, I just used pelisplus and watched the movie illegally and decided to give the Flash a fair shot because we all knew It had bad stuff but I personally wanted to see It before making any judgement.

... But holy ****, I couldn't keep up with It. Just as I am writing I dropped the movie even before Michael Keaton or Supergirl showed up because It was such a trainwreck I couldn't stand It. Talk about a bad beginning.

The CGI is as awful as people are saying, It makes the Flash show by CW look like The Lord Of The Rings trilogy and It makes MODOK in Quantumania look like a masterpiece of CGI such as Gollum from The Two Towers or Davy Jones from Pirates Of The Caribbean.

The costume design is godawful, Ben Affleck's Batman looks more like my grandpa in a Batman costume than even Michael Keaton. The main Flash suit feels somehow even worse than any costume from the CW Flash show and they all have this mix of CGI which makes It all look even worse.

The action drags on for too long and in a bad way. There's this scene where Flash is trying to save some ugly-ass babies from falling... And for some reason they decided he has to stop to eat food to recharge and takes almost 1 minute to show him eating? I'm sorry, what was the point of adding that scene? Just make Flash save the babies and nothing else.

The movie also introduces characters Who we have never seen before in any of the movies for some reason, and pretends to act as if we know them completely and should be invested. No, I don't care about Flash's crush Who only had a single scene in the Snyder Cut of Justice League. I know literally nothing about her.

And the humour... Holy **** the humour. Remember in my Rise Of The Beasts review where I said that the movie had trouble balancing tone and humour? The Flash somehow does It worse. All the jokes are unfunny and they ruin and mess with the pace of the scenes quite badly. It reminds me of the jokes in Space Jam 2 but somehow even worse.

Overall, I agree with TheMightyP TheMightyP even though he probably won't read any of this: the movie is garbage, not worth anyone's time and obviously not even worth paying for. The only sort of enjoyment I had was when the movie got interrupted by a shockingly well timed ad for a betting house on the site I was watching It and It featured a bootleg Flash. That situation was better than anything I had seen of the movie.

So yeah, don't support this insult.

I guess I did this just to try and fit in with ya'll, but idk anymore.

Yeah, it's really common to live with your family until you marry here and even then, married couples living in the same building or even house with one side's parents is considered normal in most places. So, siblings living together while not very common it's almost encouraged (more so in the case of women, and there is still societal pressure to get married because of sexism).

I don't think me and my brother living together would ruffle any feathers, especially nowadays as you said, housing prices are through the roof here as well.

Something to note is that this is becoming less common nowadays with the younger gens given that marriage and children is increasingly no longer the end goal for many. Being single is also increasingly common (though this is more true in the case of men iirc, not as common in women who are also more content with being single, studies show).

Now understand my intent was not to offend given this is the article that says Greninja has a porn addiction.

Nah I read it, I agree. It sucks.

Now I gotta work at the movies today and I pray that the theater is empty. Not looking hot at the Box Office, apparently it's gonna do worse than Ant Man 3 which is a feat.

Of course, no hard feelings. I'm just sensitive about this issue. Honestly part of the issue is probably in my head since I don't think I've ever been accused of anything weird irl although I am tired of having to say "actually she's my sister" to people.

I'm starting to think that there are only-child people out there whose idea of what having a sibling is like entirely comes from popular media that has little middle ground between "hate each others' guts" and "Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver when they were first introduced".

(And it's worse when you're twins, trust me)

I learned the hard way to start controlling Mitsuru after a never ending streak of unfortunate events within a single fight, Ken…forgot about him every single time…and with my second playthrough I realized Junpei ****ing rocks as a full time party member. Aigis is pretty cool here and there, Koromaru is too adorable to not use, Shinjiro…and then Akihiko idk anything about him beyond punches tbh

Hopefully things turn around for Blue Beetle or Superman Legacy. (I do not have high hopes for Aquaman 2 - the first movie did well, but I haven't heard anything good about the sequel, and there's next-to-no footage/trailers for it despite it coming out in about 6 months)

I'm going to see the Flash on Sunday, but I'm concerned about what I've heard about it. I'm just looking forward to a time where DC's movies are influenced by more than just the period of time from 1986-1993 (from post-Crisis/The Dark Knight Returns to the Death of Superman) and/or the work of Geoff Johns. (I've been reading Mark Waid's Flash run, and I'm enjoying it so far; it would be nice if we got something other than the fifth or sixth Flashpoint adaptation for a Flash movie)

Aquaman’s sequel might benefit due to the former somehow being DC’s most successful movie, and Superman is Superman, but yeah Blue Beetle is gonna be in a bit of trouble (unless George Lopez manages to bring in trillions)

Also, it is weird how Flash is seemingly only allowed to adapt Flashpoint/time traveling type stories for movies about him

Apparently Aquaman's sequel the "Lost Kingdom" had a test screening a few months ago and it is very negative according to several insiders.

Whilst it is still hard to say where the Blue Beetle is going to land in terms of reception unless Warner Bros give this film a good and proper amount of marketing and promotion.

In other news, the Mortal Kombat film sequel rounds out its cast with Martyn Ford, Desmond Chiam, Ana Thu Nguyen and Damon Herriman as Shao Khan, King Jerrod, Sindel and Quan Chi.

Feel like BB depends of word of mouth that allows it to stay steady for it's run. Quantumania straight up fell off a cliff despite doing very good opening weekend.

I haven't seen the Flash film yet, but so much for those early initial test screenings and social media reactions saying that this was "the best superhero film."

Other than that, I really fo feel that Warner Bros. banked so hard for the Flash with a load of marketing and promotion despite the issues it had against it which may affect its box office run.

Reddit's hiking up the API price for 3rd party things, including stuff like automoderator.


In protest, a ton of Subreddits decided to basically close their doors and private themselves.



It did not work and Reddit basically said "Yeah we don't care. If you keep this up we're going to force you back open."
