I need a nickname for my Honchkrow. Something dark, evil, or bosslike. Maybe something from another language?

That's all I have, because I don't think nicknaming all of your Pokemon is that fun. Besides, I could not think of any good names for my life.

Sometimes I name my Unowns corresponding to their letter. I have a whole party of Unowns that spell out my name.

I always nickname my Alakazam/Kadabra (If I has nobody to trade with) DJINN.

I have done so since Pokemon Red/Blue and have done it in every file in every game until now, when I told myself I wouldn't catch one until I got Pokeradar and chained a Shiny, which odds are it'll teleport and I'll die... of aids... which I somehow got from rage.

My Absol is called WHITE. I want a more fitting name to do with the colour white. Any ideas? Inb4 BLANC.

Well, I remember reading somewhere on Smogon that a guy played someone who nicknamed all their Pokemon after famous Native Americans, and I thought that was REALLY COOL. So, I named my (albeit crappy) Trick Room team after a subject interesting and familiar to me, Greek mythology. To give you an idea:

Bronzong - Hephaestus (the Greek god of metalsmiths, metal, fire, etc. Also known as the only lame / ugly Greek god. Fits Bronzong well on two fronts, ugly as shiz and metallic.)

Dusknoir - Hades (God of the underworld, obviously fits because Dusknoir is a ghost.)

Slowbro - Poseidon (God of the sea. Both are water types, and Slowbro knows Surf, but that's just a perk.)

Marowak - Ares (God of bloodlust and warfare. Marowak is my main hitter, also the strongest member of my team. The warmonger, of sorts.)

Scizor - Zeus (the most powerful, main Greek god. Also the god of the sky (and thunder, but that doesn't apply). Fits Scizor because Scizor is currently considered the best OU Pokemon, and usually sees the most time when I play. Also can fly, but that's not the point.)

Salamence - Hermes (the messenger god, and the god of flight, since that's what he's known for. Obviously because Salamence scouts for me a lot and can also fly.)

Etc, etc.

Whenever I think of the name Hermes, I think of the Rastafarian accountant from Futurama. But that's just me.

I nicknamed my Tyranitar T-Pain, but got tired of that so I named it Muffin.

Most of my other Pokemanz are named after either the Japanese name of the Pokemon, or the Japanese name of one of its other forms, assuming it's cool. For example, my Scizor is named "Strike" since that's the Japanese name for Scyther.

Lanturn is Chonchie. :3
Sandslash is Sandpan.
Kabutops is Spotubak since I can't think of anything good. If you can, let me know. >_>
Pidgeot is Poppo. (Pidgey's Japanese name)
