Both are quite good for that name really with Snorlax's eating habits and Lickatungs huge tongue for stealing snacks =p

But i think Snorlax suits it more but its close

I promptly wasted a ton of time trying to just catch Articuno since I have no particular use for it, and nicknamed it "Popsicle" since it carries the Rash nature.

...and wasted over 30 Dusk Balls trying to catch it.

I did, however, name my Lopunny Chun Li and my Machamp Armstrong. 5 cool points for anyone who knows which one on their first guess.

I think the strangest nickname I ever named one of my pokemon would be Tamagotchi my Gliscor. Honestly I don't really know why I chose that name in the first place but it stuck. But of course, seeing as I name every one of my pokemon, there are most likely other strange names as well.

Also, did anyone name their started Pokemon after what it would eventually evolve into? For example, I named my Squirtle Blastoise just so I could see the words "Blastoise evolved into a Wartortle."

When I was younger and first got Yellow version, I claimed to have named my Gastly 'Gengar' because "I wanted him to feel special since he'll never evolve."

Making nicknames for all of my guys is such a chore sometimes, is there an easy way to make a decent nickname for these things? I mean I'm almost out of ideas at this point.

By the looks of it, I've named all of my stuff from the first and fourth generations, and almost all of my stuff from the second generation... I'm completely out of ideas, so I'm just reworking names. xD
