I don't have a ride to Madison so I can't go. ;o;

I'll see what I do for the weekend of the 24th. I now have 3 invitations for the 24th. XD

Come on Illinois...the SiiS original date was changed so that Kansas could make it out, because even they want to go to the tourney, despite the distance. They also were at SiiS5.

What do you think that says about their tournament experience?

You're telling me that now you guys are gonna go to a local instead that you decided to schedule on this same weekend? It's not like you didn't know about this...

I don't think the Local is issue Auspher. Since I doubt many would go to SiiS6 anyway just realistically looking at it.

I figured so the Locals don't miss out, they decided to host a Local tourney. I don't blame them. If only a handful were planning on going to SiiS anyway, the rest of the scene was just not going to go and them playing in the Local is better than doing nothing that weekend.

I am sure, you will see IL at SiiS if they can manage to get a car. Since I know there is a handful that do want to go. I wouldn't put too much in the fact that a Local is on the same day as a Regional.

Tbh, I completely forgot about SiiS6. We've been running these tournaments the last weekend of the month since we switched to a new venue, so we're gonna keep that going. We briefly talked about going a while back, but it still doesn't seem like IL is that interesting in going to SiiS6, so why not schedule a local that people can actually to go to? Not everyone has the money to make it to Ohio (myself included), and it's not like we're taking away from SiiS entrants. Yes, it's a regional, but that doesn't mean every state in the Midwest needs to go to it. IL just won't be making it this time.

Hey how about someone from Ohio makes it to an IL tournament before they keep asking us to go to theirs? The last Ohioan to come was Blue Rogue/ITT in 2009, and before that was Shugo in like summer 09. Aside from that, IL would probably go if we had a way to get there.

In all fairness, we've never hosted a legit regional. And we've never driven out for an Ohio local.

Also LOL @ forgetting clowsui

If Illinois hosted a big regional, then sure, I'd try to get NEOH out there, but I haven't seen that happen.

Otherwise, Ohio will just travel one state for locals(Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky).

I use to run tourneys in Chicago. It got people from all over the Midwest to show up for it. Michigan was a frequent state at the events.

I actually might start doing them again in Chicago, but not at this time. I need to secure a venue first. lol

But Chicago has had many big tournaments in the past. I am sure they will in the near future. ^_^

Sorry that 6am salt got to me. Just don't EXPECT people to make it to places. It's not like no one wanted to go to SiiS, just that we have no driver currently. The way you said it especially in the SiiS thread made me mad.

Sorry Chi. <3<3<3 I will make it up to you baby.

Sorry Oro, but it's the truth. You guys could try, given the reasonable excuses you made for not going last time (poorly run tourney) aren't worth much now.

This guy...you have to understand a lot of things...just because the reasons might not apply to YOU doesn't mean it doesn't to anyone else.

Alot of factors come into going OoS. Money. Time. The whole weekend needed to go. There are people who don't want to put up that kind of stuff. Others don't really think the TO is good. Like I said, don't call people flakey just because their not going. Last one was a 2 day event that barely had 60+ people go. Prolly another reason.

I wanna go, but I'm not gonna put up about 100$ to go if no one else is going to wanna go. I'm gonna go where it's convenient to go, where everyone else is going. Simple as that

I already said people wanted to go but we have no drivers.

Oh well...I'll just say you're missing out on a great tournament. I love you guys...I really do, but it's just really frustrating that a bad experience ruins it for everybody.

Haha, fool me once, shame on you, feel me twice, shame on me. That is how I feel about SiiS and I was STILL GOING TO GO. Really I'm not sure how you can even be disappointed in that.

I'm going to Chi's tourney 100% in Ohio, and will choose any Clowsui event over SiiS if I have to make a choice.

Tell you what. If you REALLY want to go to a tournament series that is run by a great Ohio TO, if not one of the best in the Midwest, then I suggest you check out The Kiest's tournaments in Columbus. He does a great job with them.

Did you even read what I wrote? I don't have the money, and I know a few other IL people are in the same boat. If you want to shell out $100+ for us to show up, then fine, but don't jump down our throats because we can't make it to a regional 7+ hours away from us. No one even used the bad TO excuse like you claim we are, most of us just can't go.
