Mission Statement

To inspire Illinois smashers to get better, measure skill, reward skill development, and create a competitive atmosphere in this awesome state.

Position Criteria

+ Overall tournament performance
+ Notable players you have beaten/lost to
+ Tournament win/loss consistency
+ Must be an Illinois/Wisconsin resident

Quik definitely deserves #1, but Ook can easily contest him for it. I'm back into the scene, and I'm trying to push Kirk up the ranks. I don't care about rankings though, I just want others who aren't on the list to not worry about being on it. Don't even care about the honorable mentions, just keep playing to improve yourself (or whatever goal you have) ;)

This is sweet. I'm going to be trying to get more involved in the Illinois tourney scene and I can't wait to try and make this list. (even an honorable mention) I've only gone to one of the Clash of Brokeness tourneys but I plan on going to many more in the future.

I need to stop trash talking and actually go to an Illinois tournament. Can't wait to play Kain and see how I stack up.

Hmm I guess because of my recent tourney placings, Im so low. Since August 08 to March 09 I was doing very well in tournaments. I gotta step up my game.

And why am I on there? I get owned every chicago tournament I've been to. >.>;

If there were people listed after the top 10, then those under the honorable mention list would be somewhere around there. They're generally less consistent, but have had their ups and downs or maybe they just don't go to enough tournaments. Others of course were considered as well since they preform around the same, but have entered less tournaments so it's tougher to make a comparison.

Well I'm glad people have responded so promptly to the list, hopefully it'll spark some interest in molding the IL Brawl scene further. There are plenty of talented smashers for sure, they just need to get their names out...so keep going to tournaments guys :)

I don't know many players from OH but I know that it's a pretty competitive state compared to IL.

The point im trying to make is that Mks from other states come to IL and clash of Brokenness.

and most of them were OoS's. If its FBT6, it was when all of the MW:W threw a hissyfit over something dumb.
