isn't there a way to put all the participants in a program, and make the pools properly seeded by skill and region? I mean I have done that at previous tournament and I never had any problems whatsoever, nobody ever complained about pools. When I heard chibo was doing everything by hand, AND he was alone to do so was the thing that blew me away the most in all this.

I really appreciate the backup you gave me at Clash. You were always in my corner rooting for me and giving me props when I did something. I really appreciate it and it helped me feel like I was back home/It was different being on east coast because there was regional rivalries and not many smashers were wanting a texas TL to beat someone in their crew, So when I heard you cheering in the backround I felt more comfortable and I didn't hear the other guys who were wanting me to get 3 stocked again or something like that ha. Also the help you have me after a lost a match was awesome. You cooled me down and made me less nervous. Discussing counterpicks with you was SO important. I can't telll you how helpful it was to be able to talk to you and figure out which stage would help me the best and why other stages weren't the right choice. Thank you thank you thank you <3

The main issue is going to be transferring that amount of data to the people who wish to help cut the videos. Unless you used Ustreams recording function....

as far as i kno, not many matches from saturday were recorded on the stream. a lot more were done on sunday. vex has all the videos recorded since they were on his laptop. if he wants help splittin' em up u can talk to him to find a way to get the files from him.

Does this mean that only a few of the matches that were on the stream on sat were recorded?
Or does it mean that they were all recorded but there just werent that many?

All I have to say is that with everything that happened, Chibo deserved every bit of it, simply because you have to have been absolutely ******** to think you can run a tourney by yourself period, even if it just had 80 people.

i mean, even with a crew of 4-5, a tourney with 270 people, and a teams tourney, cannot be finished in 2 days with like 27 TVs. that doesnt even count starting 7 hours late. 1 TV for a pool of 8 takes ages, thats like 28 straight sets on 1 TV, and a brawl set can take like 15-20 minutes.

An announcement warning players that the tourney would suffer it they did not finish pools quickly would've solved most problems IMO, then again, it's hard to keep an eye on every player. Pretty much every tourney I go to starts late as **** though, so it's not like this is anything new.

no dude, a major tournament starting 7 hours late is something new, its not like holding up the tourney for an hour, thats over a quarter of the total tournament time gone.

Outside of everything starting way to late, I actually had a good time at this tournament. I met alot of cool people and def will keep in touch with them in the future.

I can understand why some people would think this is wrong, but it says right in the first post, everyone is charged the venue fee regardless, so I'm just sticking by it. She's mad cool, I've talked to her a lot, but just because she's a girl I can't let her break the rule. Especially when I know she plays smash and could have been playing friendlies and stuff. She even went on to enter singles. I don't see why I was being a jerk by following rules that we're in place for a while.

we're upset about it cause the rule is ******** to begin with...so following it is insurmountably more jerktastic...it has nothing to do with her being a girl...she entered singles cause she already had to pay venue...so might as well enter...besides let people come spectate for free, if anything...they might like it and come to more tournies...
