Sonic's Down B and Forward b are swatted and completely out prioritised by dancing blade, ftilt, dtilt, fsmash, dsmash oh the list goes on.

Course, Marth isn't a good character at all and his best match up is 40:60 (The opponent's way) so of course he doesn't **** sonic.

I'd actually lean towards a 30:70 matchup in the opponents favor, Sonic can kill so well.

Howe about hitting with a move that ISN'T dash attack with Sonic.

I'm a Bair Heavy Sonic player. Due to diminishing returns, I'm not going to kill anyone with Bair unless they're practically off the screen already. My means of killing people are F/Dsmash, and Fair.

Aside from Fair, it isn't too easy to land any of those, especially if we're making Wifi johns all over the place.

Marth doesn't suck on Wifi, Wifi sucks for everyone.

Time to stop misconceptions about Sonic on Wi-fi

While it's true that Marth suffers on wi-fi, Sonic suffers to a great extent too.

It's kind of a double edged sword with Sonic.

Advantages

-Hard to space against Sonic
-Hard to deal with Sonic's speed.
-Any mindgames speed related are more effective

Disadvantages

-Hard to control Sonic.
-All combos that Sonic has are near impossible to pull off.
-It's hard to hit anything with Sonic, because you can't be precise.


On a different note, Boxob vs Emblem Lord would make me cream. I'd need vids.

Marth doesn't suck on Wifi, Wifi sucks for everyone.

Marth is one of the most spacing-dependant characters in the game, without precise spacing, he gets rocked, period. For example, the massive advantage for the ganondorf match-up? Vanishes completely.

No, Wifi hurts Marth a great deal more then most characters. Zelda is another character that wifi decimates.

Also, have you heard of Tatsunoko vs Capcom for the Wii? Capcom says they're trying there hardest to get it into the states, and it looks amazing. I'll probably be picking up Street Fighter 4 for 360 as well, though.

Anyways, I've never been into 1 on 1 fighting games except Melee/Brawl (at least not competitively). But now I'm intrigued, and I heard MvC2 was the pinnacle of competitive fighters and that Tatsunoko vs Capcom would be similar. What exactly is wrong with it?
