ok *****es! here's what's up! we had a mini tourny at a uk smashfest and i got 9th out of 21. -.- but someone said my yoshi was rediculous so my moral got boosted since it was a comment from a top tier mainer....i dont believe i lost to anyone that placed lower nor the other rule. =P so do i get points? =D

It's pretty easy when you look at how players rank in tournaments. Plus, word of mouth from other players.
Using Yoshi in low tier is cheating, PRiDE.

3rd out of what seems like 25 in singles. (1st/12 in doubles woot)
The only things that matter is that I lost to Fatal 2-3 in Winner's finals, and lost to MELITO in loser's finals. However it should be noted that I was the one who knocked him into loser's finals earlier in the tournament, thus increasing the points I collect, right?

. I was actually asked recently if I was best yoshi in florida and I said "nope, If I had to choose I'd say Polt is"One day I'll get better though, one day.
Yeah, unless people only enter doubles in tournies(lol)..........I wish I could afford going to tournies every weekend but I have to eat, sadly.

The lost against Flyfunner is shame but it was my very first match against a Wario.

lol went to a tournament today lost to romeo in winners and losers and got 3rd
too bad there was only 10 people, but i think i did good considering I just underwent surgery yesterday, im a healing machine (wisdom teeth removed)

7/29, lowest I've done in awhile. I got bracket ***** and had to fight blackanese/basic sausage early on. A lot of people I usually do better than ended up outplacing me, but 7th is alright.

Nice job, Nul! Can you also post it in the tournament results topic here and in Ankoku's topic in the Tactical Discussion forum? (You need to know who played as whom and how much the fee for singles was, though)

Being that it was a school hosted thing, they don't have a thread here, but it did have the SB rule set with all CP/banned in the banned part. :/
And I already have it in Ankoku's thread, so that's all good.
And I see something very broken in the system:
say we have players A and B(yoshi) in a 20 man tourny, they both are up to the winner's finals (semis), and B beats A, A comes back, wins loser finals, then beats B on both sets, the equation is:
(45 * (.2 + 1))=
45 * 1.2= 54
As opposed to B just winning flat out:
50 * .2 = 10
Or even if B lost first then got 1st:
(50 * (.2 + .9))=
50 * 1.1 = 55
I see some real issues...
So... I could have forfeited my semis or 1st set to get more points?
And I already have it in Ankoku's thread, so that's all good.
