I agree, although the problem with that is, the minute you start to go lax on how much Yoshi is acceptable you end up with people using other chars for the majority of the time and claiming it as power ranking. You lose the 'line in the sand' of what is acceptable...

But he's right, there are some occasions where people need to switch... I don't think all their efforts should be null just for that.
Maybe we could implement a rule whereby there is a limit to how many times you can use another character and you must use Yoshi in the Finals and Semis. Also, maybe you could deduct points or award less points for using another char.

this is because unlike other characters yoshi doesn't have an unwinnable matchup, he has some hard ones, but not unwinnable

yeah but if i were to face say a marth and went mk because its a hard matchup for yoshi, thats not being disloyal thats just being smart (i dont use mk btw). staying one character is just stupid, especially if ur someone like me who has loyalty to more than just one board

Yea, your right I should try to be more active. I don't like to post unless Im contributing something to the thread though, not just mindlessly reiterating what the guy before me said. Like this post, its off topic and irrelevant and its just one post furbs will have to scroll through to find someone who is actually posting tourney results... sorry furbs XD

Also, if you take a look at each persons join date and post count on this page... you will notice that the oldest members have the lowest post count. Interesting.

Try checking my AiB profile and look at the next tournament I'm attending. I don't do online tournaments so it should be on there.

Shouldn't people get at least something for using Yoshi? like, just give them less points if they use another char?
Doesn't really affect me because I don't even know how to operate any other character aside from Yoshi, let alone trying to use them. But I can see why others might want to use other chars.

**** that i want full points if i go half yoshi half puff. the puff boards really need more pple repping them in tournies more than the yoshies do but i'd still appreciate the full points for using yoshi the majority of the tourny

Okay I just got 17th out of 100. A little over 100 entered, I think, and pools brought the bracket down to 48. I still get credit though for the 100 total single entrants though so thats like 5 points? I lost to Chu and Meep who got 13th and 9th respectivley.
