You could be just minding your own business, watching Trevonte vs Razer in pools at Genesis and then notice some top diddy kong player staring at you for a good minute or two because you look "interesting". Then they could just look away in embarrassment when you catch them instead of introducing themselves and thereby make everything awkward whenever you make eye contact
