Alright guys, I don't know how else to say this since I didn't imagine it would cross my mind so abruptly, but I'm sitting here thinking, and I'm just...not having fun with this game anymore. It's even gotten to the point where I'm almost completely absent-minded in a match, autopiloting, not watching my opponent, not executing, not caring, etc.

I'm sure you can guess where I'm going with this. It may be about that time.

But the thing is, I came into this game with a mission. And I dont care if I have no feeling for this game. I have a mission I set myself out to do. And I am gonna do it. Once I do it, I can pack it up. Cause I did what I had to do. But I can't just quit like that. Not yet. I aint done here.

Well good luck with that man, I wish you the best. If anything, I'd love to get back into Melee, I was actually making some worthwhile progression while I played that game. Brawl's entire build just kind of goes against my nature as a player, and slowly but surely I've been trying to break past my offensive tendencies to mesh with the game better, and no matter how much I try I just can't seem to do it. It's a lot of walking, it's a lot of waiting, a lot of poking, momentum is seldom earned and/or maintained for long, and the adrenaline rush that I used to get in Melee never really happened in this game. I kind of just sit there now and go through the motions, other matches rarely excite me, Brawl hype in general is just...not there. If I want to watch, wait, and poke that much, I might as well go play an RTS or something.

If I'm going to continue to spend money on something, it's going to be something that I still have fun with, that's the way I see it anyway. I've met some great people in this community for sure (particularly Ohio/Midwest/the Peaches/and a select few others). It's the main reason I still go to tournaments now, to hang out with people I like and meet some cool new people, but even that can only entice me to keep coming for so long. I don't know exactly what my next move will be at this point, so I'll just wait and see how I feel about it in the near future, because right now this game itself feels like a chore to play and try to enjoy.

If you're talking about it you're not going to quit. If you're talking about you obviously want to stay and will eventually come back since it still interests you. I just feel people who make posts like this never actually quit since they don't seem like they want to quit. People who want to quit and stay quit do it in a quiet small toned matter. Since you told us about this it worry you and if worry you have some sort of care for the game and have motivation to stay.

Game is just dumb. Not hard to get good at and its plan gay. That's why I like melee more. All the dumb crap people get away in brawl would not happen in melee.

Same time the people in this community or stupid. Get hyped to easy, p0lay gay as hell and can get away with it. Also have a character carrying them. So many damm egos and meatriding. Melee community was never this bad. I dont thinkit ever got to that level. But since this is an easier game to pick up and dont have to think as much as melee, of course people are gonna act the way they do.

I'm kinda in a rush now to get this mission done, so I can bounce. I would stay but this community and this game is so dumb. I think the main reason I am not as good as I use to be is cause how this community and the game is played. Boring and annoying. Seriously if it was not for Peach I not touch this game at all. This game is not worth playing for competition.
