lol. We should take tournament wins or money matches into consideration. So we lose to Yoshi over and over again so we put it as -1? Ummmm apparently someone back there is already doing it. It's important to use BOTH tournament results and character specific traits to come to a matchup conclusion. In both cases Snake and Metaknight DWARF our character - therefore it should be -3 in both cases.

Just because Nicole and LLOD both beat Seibrik ONE out of 400000000 times doesn't mean anything.

He obviously has little to no knowledge on the matchup or how to play it.

I'm actually pretty good at the Snake and or Metaknight matchup. I could bet money on the Snake part (and probably on the Metaknight part too - if the opponent knows how to play against Peach and has sufficient practice - seeing how Raz did against Nicole at Dallas)

I don't know where that came from.

Gonna pop in to say no amount of run away turnip counteracts D3's CG and bair in a war of percent, especially when you factor in stages. It isn't unwinnable, but **** is not even. -1, DDD's favor.

actually Meno - you are right!

Polt doesn't lose to Ice Climbers.. the matchup must be in Yoshi's favor.

Polt rarely loses to Peach mains (besides me and King Beef from what I know) the matchup must be in Yoshi's favor.

San beats top level Diddies and DeDeDes frequently - definitely Ike's favor.

Brood beat M2K - both of these players are at top level of their character. You can't argue against that right? Olimar > Metaknight.

the matchup isn't as bad as we all thought it was! we didn't do anything different than before or find any new techniques to use under certain circumstances - but we still won!

AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OF LOSING - THIS ONE TIME WE BEAT IT - IT'S WAYYYYYYYY EASIER NOW LULULULULU

Let alone twice.

I'm just applying common sense. It's still bad, but your parody makes it sound like I think it's an instant favor reversal. Ha.

I respect what you are trying to say Meno - but we still have Will (DK) beating Atomsk (DDD) both players are considered at the top level of their metagame - yet Atomsk still loses (more than one time).

I'm not trying to call anyone out - I'm just stating that the :20 or :10 that states the other player may win (if better) implies exactly that.

Actually, I've come to the realization that sitting here on the website and talking about the game is extremely ********, it's one of my least favorite things to do by far lol. It's all just opinions and arbitrary numbers being thrown around.

Because, when it comes down to it, all that really matters is what happens there: at the tournament, on the TV screen, live. Anything can happen. LLOD's last tournament was Pound 4. His only methods of practice have been wifi and his brother SmashGOD. Seibrik plays the most broken character in the game, is one of the best players of that character, and even has access to one of the better Peaches around right there in Florida, among others. There is no excuse for him to still have a Peach problem (if he does). He lost because he got outplayed, that's it. It wouldn't be possible to simply outplay him if Meta Knight outright DWARFS Peach to the degree of calling it a -3. The evidence may be few and far between, but damn...if an inactive Peach comes out of the woodwork and beats a high level MK (FIRST THING too, I don't think LLOD got much warmup, if at all) then why turn a blind cheek to that clear cut evidence of the matchup not being THAT much of a complete steamroll. LLOD even beat him on his own Rainbow Cruise counterpick...isn't that supposed to be completely and utterly free for him as well? I'm pretty sure that the MK doesn't even have to know the Peach matchup to get a free win there.

Not everything that has already been deemed as such...must remain as such.

Why you think I am not getting involed in this. Everyones opinions on who is good, bad, etc is all different. and the biggiest problem here is that alot of things are based on hype/image. You really think things are gonna be legit that way?

tbh i just wanna know how llod is so good on rc and how exactly his fair spam works. it's like it either hits a shield or beats a ground move or sumtin.

idk i haven't played any serious smash since pound so whatev haha.

also, playing against peaches for once kinda helped me see what's just hard to react to or **** that's really just predictable and not very smart to do just work b/c it's gay (aka, floating and waiting for a reaction. it's hard to react when peach finally fairs or dairs or sumtin).

idk there's a lot about peach's float mechanics that are gayer than i thought and gayer than i currently use coz atm all i do is play as smart as possible and throw out precise frame-traps and hitboxes in precise ways to shut people down. i have my own little way of doing things but i think pound showed me some gay stuff to add to my game.
