Ill I like you as a person and as a peach player.

But I am SOOO glad you weren't in the backroom for this.

There are 3 kinds of mains:
1) character crusaders, who will say that their char is good against like, everyone.
2) character haters, who will say that their char loses to like, everyone (and that they are really good players because they are still able to win with their ****ty char)
3) rational character mains who are able to compromise with other rational character mains
(you are #2)

you have to realize that the peaches and the other chars had to compromise. the snakes didn't think the MU was that bad; some of them wanted to call it 45:55. the mks (not all of them) did think it was 3:7 but it just ISN'T. seibrik got THIRD at a national tournament, there is no way that a player of my mediocre skill could have beaten a player of that caliber if the matchup was unwinnable (which 3:7 is).

i certainly dont agree with all our MUs. I think samus is even, I think wolf is -1 or -2, i think falco is -2, and I think wario is even (and probably some other stuff I can't remember right now). but considering that we peaches had to not only compromise with one another, but also had to compromise with the other character panels, i think we did an excellent job and i'm very pleased with the way it turned out.

peach isn't a bad character. she is viable and CAN beat any opponent. her matchups reflect that. you are not a beautiful or unique snowflake for doing well with peach. if a top player picked up peach and decided to main her they would do great things with her, just as san does with ike, tkd does with fox, riddle does with zamus, etc.

Nicole - I'm willing to COMPROMISE.

Lol. It's funny - because I was just talking to Raz about this on aim. I believe certain matchups are in our favor and other ones are terrible - but I'm not just going to run around stating that it HAS to be that way. I'm willing to look at the broad spectrum of everything that has been going on (the amount of times Peach beats Metaknight in tournament, specific character attibutes, etc etc.) and voice my opinion on what I think the matchup is.

I think you guys take me too seriously when I post my actual opinion on matchups and I'm not trolling.

By all means.. I am willing to compromise if others can bring forward valid claims.

If anything I believe that Peach is a good character - just as I a player haven't figured two (or three) matchups out yet.

Metaknight - because he is broken.

Marth - because of my playstyle.

Olimar - for reasons unknown.

I mean, there's like ****ing twenty of us.

today i just realized something, llod is a hella inspiring peach. Being able to beast on amazing players with only wifi practice is a cool thing that can help players with no offline players around get motivation to realize they can do well.

Honestly, wifi is the only reason that I got decent. Matchup experience, playstyle variety, adaptations to different conditions, etc. Plus, every ladder set is like a tourney set so I know stage picking backwards and forwards. Lastly, I learned how to play safe. Raz was wondering why/how I fair so much. The reason is that I cancel it so that there's no lag, and space it so that they can't shield grab it. Either the fair hits them (win) or it hits their shield and I retreat (semi-win)

But seriously, wifi da bess for ppl (like me) who can't go offline too much

On a side note, I got my permit 2 days ago xD So in like 9 months or something (not really sure) I think I can drive by myself legally. I probably won't be able to go anywhere without a parent for a while, though, so we'll see. My access to weekly/biweekly/monthly tourneys and consistent top 3 placings (hopefully) will soon come!

First off, I aint no *****. Just gonna get that out there.

Second, all the gays have to do is quit Peach. And there will be a small amount of Peach players. Since this character has some attraction to gay and fem people.

also Cheap, I picked up Melee alongside Brawl personally. I'm going FL's biggest Melee tourney this weekend. Me quitting anything just leaves me with an awful feeling.

I have seen you posting around the Melee Peach GD; I hope you do well in the game.
