I was thinking more along the lines of this. Not pokemon as in Melee, pokemon as in bringing my DS... but I was half joking anyway.

Still a little bit unsure about my ability to travel.
I should be able to, since I start my job this Saturday, but that's another problem, since my job takes place on weekends.
HOWEVER.
It's summer, so I should be able to go places on Thursday or Friday, depending on how far away the place is and who all is willing to take me that my parents know.
I still play Melee, but I switched my main back to Pichu.
Even so, I still can use almost all of the cast.
I just haven't had a decent fight in about a month.

I knew that you thought I would pick falcon. Unfortunately, falcon doesn't win tournaments or beat sheik.

Seriously NO ONE has posted in the TN thread for over a month? This is kinda ridiculous. I'm moving more west for college (cookeville/TN Tech) so hopefully I can get together with anyone in the murfreesboro/nashville area these coming months. Seriously though we should post more in this thread its very sad no one cares bout smash in TN...

Pretty much everyone who plays melee is in Memphis. Ambix doesn't, but he lives close enough.
Also, we usually post in the Memphis area thread which is why this is dead.

Atlanta/Roswell, GA ~3.5 hours south
Greensboro, NC ~6 hours east
Cincinnati, OH ~5 hours north
please tell me if theres somewhere closer
Unless the House of Smash monthlies in Murfreesboro keep going (which looks unlikely) the only reasonably close place is georgia... and thats not close

My life burned up so i builded a new one.

Hey I live in Knoxville Tennessee and I really want to do some tournaments. I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me if theres any tournaments in knoxville because these forums are hard to navigate.

Knoxville is kinda a dead zone for melee. You might be lucky to even find something to do with Brawl. how ever there are a few people who play melee in Knoxville. Stratocaster is from Knoxville (i think) and Seninsis if he ever shows up again lol. Seninsis is a beast. Your best bet for tournaments is in middle TN or (if you want to drive for 7 hours) memphis. Memphis has a much bigger Melee community but middle tn is closer. (half the drive)
