I'll see if I can make it, since I should have the money to enter and whatnot.
I just need reliable transportation, and I need to practice more on Melee.

So far as I've seen, I am getting better.
Not better than you guys, but I should be somewhat of a challenge next time we fight.

Also, BunBun, BBCS would be great.
I main Tager, Hazama, and Ragna.

Lol seriously though, since Virgiligus moved there hasn't been anyone to play in knoxville. That was almost 2 years ago. Now I'm off to college in Cookeville, TN (1.5 hours west), and theres still no one who plays in this town, lol. I am closer to everywhere though (nashville, murfrees, memphis) If you wan't someone to play against and help you learn I come home almost every other weekend and I could possibly come by your place. I don't know if you're living at home or go to UT or whatnot, but I'd love to play sometime.

There's no such thing as a melee tournament in Knoxville. There is a brawl group but I've never even contacted them because I don't play it.

What if I said 10 hours to awesome? This year Oh Snap will have both Melee and Brawl. I'm not just here to spam your thread, I'm here because IHSB and Iori blazed through OK so hard last spring that I can't imagine the kinda ice they will melt this winter.
(perhaps red ice with their blue fire?)
Besides I <3 fighting that slippery Samus...I like my women
to make the sliding look easy.


Get those pools in the car and hit me up if you need housing, we should be able to accommodate anyone making the trek! ^_^

I request to be put on this list of awesomeness.lol. Yo we have community Monthlies and on tuesdays from 5-11p.m is a lot of melee an brawl.It's located at The Vue on Polar Avenue if you ever feel like googling it.Check it out cause I'm sure Iori and IHSB can vouch for me it is well worth it.

PCHU I've seen a lot of Jackson ppl down here in memphis for the Monthlies a lot.

I don't know them personally accept of one guy who played samus by the name of JR. He and about 6 other guys from Jackson TN came the first two monthlies that were held.

I have a friend who goes by JR, but they're definitely not the same people (oddly enough, my friend plays smash rather competitively).

Be sure to talk to them more next time.
I'd really like to meet local people who don't suck.

I'm actually gonna be more vocal next monthly.lol. My friend is the organizer of the monthly so he's setting a date between january 8th or 17th. He normally will post it in the Tournament Listings.The results of the first two tourneies are in there if you wanna take a look.If you could you should try attending the next monthly.

Why am i not on that list? ;_;

EDIT:

I've been playing memphis melee since '06 and one or two of those names are completely unfamiliar.....I was also under the impression that industry only played melty blood and SNK. Weird.

I should go to more smashfests. I'm one of the best in the area long with iori, nite, and spaceballs yet i don't get to smash as often.

A lot of people on that list are super inactive too. Run7 doesn't do much any more. Fizz just plays aeon and tekkon....the pretty bastard.....and Zane has been dead since january. The last time I saw him was a local tournament called powerplay.

Handorin's also off galavanting in germany.

I wish that entire list was filled with active smashers ;_;

Ambix, you managed to misspell Aion and Tekken, but calling him a pretty ******* is accurate. I actually don't know what he's doing anymore. Same with the rest of Run7. We hardly speak.

Intentional misspellings.

The plan was to show contempt for those games by belittling them and being super elitist in general.
