Oh hum.

Well once again Zweihander swords cannot be weilded by mortal men, so Black Knight cannot weild his weapon and unless there is some sort of inhuman muscularity to that claw, I don't think nightmare can wield his either. That leaves the superior training and armor of the Black Knight to give him a win....then again that armor may be extraordinarily bulky and unwieldy as well...

Also, what are the parameters of nightmare's anatomy, because his default in SC4 has him being an animated suit of armor (also the picture you show). Are we using this one, or the P2/Seigfreid model?

dude, Zweils are real weapons...

I STOPPED after I read that you thought they cannot be wielded by "mortals"

I was thinking of how both of them wield there weapons, Jesus Christ.

Look at their god**** styles for a second before acting like I'm ********. They both wield them primarily with one hand (granted Nightmare has a few moves with two) There is no way to wield such a sword with one hand (God****it is that better). They both go into this fight having little knowledge of how to use their weapon PROPERLY. Black Knight probably has more experience being a trained soldier, but like I said Nightmare does have some two handed techniques.

Let's use out brains for once.

And since you have the desire to be so self-righteous, could you clarify my last question (the one you ignored because you stopped reading because I used a poor combination of words) about the anatomy and specific form of nightmare we're using ?

@NaCl
I meant it relating to their style. No man ever wielded a Zweihander like Nightmare and the BK do.

Nightmare has a giant arm-o-stero.....muscle to help that

also, Black Knight could use it with two hands just liek Ike would with his ragnel

But he wouldn't be experienced in it. When someone is trained in a certain style of swordmanship, they know how to use that, and that alone. Greil's style that he passed on to Ike and BK was a primarily one handed style. I'm not convinced that he would know how to effectively use it in a two handed way. Switching from a one handed style to a two is extremely difficult.

As for nightmare. I understand he has a large arm but what I would like to know is:

1) Which form are we using SC4 1 (animated armour/little to no actual biology) SC4 2 (Looks like living lava) or older versions (more akin to Seigfried/human in appearance).

And if were using real life physics, how does a being of average/above avergae muscular build compensate for a much heavier body appendage?

...So which Nightmare are we using? And how does he compensate for his Giant appendage?

They are all essentially the same except for the one in JOE's picture, which is the inhuman SC4 form. My interpretation of it (I do own SC4, but it's story is so poorly told) is that the basic form is simply a possessed "suit of armour" kind of thing. If this form could be used, assuming there is a way to justify it even existing, could potentially win because it can't really be "killed". Lame loopoles FTW :p

I do agree though, Black Knight at least has two hands he can use to clumsily wield his sword from within his impregnable wall of defense.

you can't pick 6-7 pound up with one hand?
of course the torque is going to be huge, but YOU DON'T SWING WITH YOUR WRIST, THAT IS NOT HOW TO USE A SWORD, you use your body like any experienced person does.
I'm not saying it's perfectly normal or totally impossible, but on paper it's plausible.
and why is Gerik not in this MU, I demand an MU with Gerik.

But then again, possessed suits of armour don't exist IRL, so Nightmare dies before the match even begins.

@JOE!: I wouldn't bother with those Time consuming MU images anymore if I were you.

But seriously, he only was a possessed suit of armour in the last two games.

In the second and third game, he was a crazy man with a big tumour. We could use him.

Not explaining anything. The sword is too big. Maybe he could use his whole body to move it, but even then the force behind it would be pathetic, clumsy and slow.

His footing would also be hampered thanks to his tumour.

You're telling me a guy can't wield a 4-7lbs sword that is 6 foot long? What?

I call baloney and foolery.

Can he swing it? Absolutely! One-handed with proficiency? Uh....Not unless you could pick up 10 -15lbs weights with ease you're not.

We could use Siegfried the white knight so that we can have a real MU.

Although his sword is still pretty **** big....

The torque of the swing changes exponentially.

Pit him against Gerik, I dare you.

Technicaly, yeah, but possessed Siegfried always had the tumour while normal Siegfried never did.

And the tumour is a very bad thing to have. I mean, with a sword that big you want a good balance, and with that tumour you would never get that.

and he wouldn't be able to wield a weapon in his tumor hand, it could completely destroy his arm. the tumor is already pushing into his muscles joints and bones, with something that large I don't see how it's even useful.

Tumor-o-Hand seems useless to me. I don't even think he can move it.
EDIT:
So.....do we use Siegfried instead or what?
lol you know what's ironic? Nightmare's name is Siegfried...
oh wait, it's the same one, lolfail

Completely off-topic:

Castle

Mine

Prison

Ice Peak

Catacomb

Swamp

Forest

Ruins

Battlefield

River

Caverns

Tower

Town

High altitude cliffs

Colosseum

Lab

Beach

I am making a game and these are the settings I am going to use.

Finished the mines, the castle, the swamp, the prison and the catacombs already. Got the idea for most others done but there is one more world I need and I already ran out of ideas on how that will be.

So....any ideas on any low-fantasy settings that are different from the ones above?

I have thought of a Surreal World, but it would look too out of place.

A cathedral, but the catacombs already have elements from it.

A mechanical world, but it clashes with the other settings too.

And a jungle, but then it would be too similar to the swamp and the forest.

Pretty please?
