Archvile (Doom II)
An infamous enemy on par with the Marauder and a Swede's perfect rival, the Archvile has a bit of a love-hate relationship with the Doom community as a whole. In Smash, the Archvile is a mini-boss that appears in the following Dungeons:
And does the following abilities:
- Fire Dungeon
- Occult Dungeon
- Brinstar Dungeon
- Underworld Dungeon
- Climax Dungeon
- Mementos Dungeon
- Undead Dungeon
- Argent D'Nur
- Flame Blast: A telegraphed, yet powerful double-hit attack, the Flame Blast takes 2 seconds to charge before release and catches the opponent in a 1% flinching hitbox before going full force with a 24% explosion at their location. By and far the most powerful ability in the Archvile's repertoire.
- Ressurection: If you've purchased the Doom DLC, and are in one of the listed Dungeons, you may notice a bright-orange outline of enemies at the locations where they were defeated. If an Archvile appears close by, he will take 1 second to concentrate a hellish red power to that outline and resurrect that foe. This cannot occur with other mini-bosses.
- Flame Puddle: The Archvile summons a large pool of fire at its location to prevent ground approaches. This shares the same properties as the flame patches that Rathalos can create.
- Flame Teleport: The Archvile will coat itself in fire before teleporting to another location. The flame coat deals 7% damage and low knockback, and disappears after it teleports.
- Summon: The Archvile erects a flame barrier in front of itself while it channels its dark magics to summon up to five of the enemies that are found in the listed Dungeons. The flame barrier has no HP, reflects projectiles and counters attacks (Both for 1.4x damage), so it is recommended to attack the Archvile from behind to interrupt this ability.
Smash Dungeon:
Argent D'Nur
View attachment 359467
Argent D'Nur is a recurring location in the modern Doom timeline, combining magitech leaning heavily into sci-fi and 18th-century Gothic architecture. In Smash, Argent D'Nur is a dungeon of labyrinthian design, with a unique dungeon-exclusive item: the Crucible.

At some point in the game, you'll find two parts in this dungeon:

The hilt...

...and the Energy Medallion.
Once these two items are found, the player must search the dungeon for a pool of Argent where the forging of the Crucible can be complete. When completed, you are presented with the Crucible as a powerful weapon for the remainder of your time in this particular Dungeon. With the Crucible equipped, you'll find these spawning throughout:

This is a Crucible Pickup, and these fuel your Crucible item for up to three swings. Unlike most battering items in Smash, the Crucible only lasts three swings before running out, and can only be refilled with this pick-up, which is automatically collected the moment you touch it, but in turn, it instantly kills any enemy or mini-boss you hit with this. You can only leave the Dungeon after attaining the Crucible.
Here they are in list form:Doom Hunter
This would be a powerful enemy that has a shield that needs to be destroyed before the enemy takes damage
It would attack with his powerful chainsaw, Shoot fireballs from it's cannon, it shoots a barrage of projectiles from it's chariot and fires a barrage of homing missiles.
Smash Dungeon
Nekravol
This would be a more vertical dungeon, it visually looks like locations from Nekravol parts 1 and 2 and is filled with many traps, like fireballs and pendulums that can damage you and enemies.

Going to edit this in the afternoon:
DOOM Mii: Revenant (Brawler)
The Revenant is a very iconic demon in the DOOM franchise, this costume woud give the Mii Brawler a chest armor with a pair of small cannons in his shoulders (that doesn't has any hitbox) and a skeletical body (less gorey than the image, think on it more of a cartoon skeleton).
FPS Mii: William B.J Blazkowicz (Gunner)
People says DOOM is the father of the FPS, well that would make Wolfenstein the Grandpa of the FPS. Not only one of the most important franchises in the genre but also a must in my own opinion especially since Wolfenstein music wasn't allowed in the previous job. The Mii Costume would make use of the most recognizable design of Blazko in the modern age, his skin in Wolfenstein: The New Order where he wears a bomber jacket and brown pants while the cannon is based on his double-barred Shotgun.
Red Guy (SUPERHOT)
Mii Gunner
Covers the mii in a blocky, polygonal red design. Shoots with a small pistol

Marauder (Mii Swordfighter)
An enemy meant to be the more defensive counterpart to Doom Slayer's offense. In Smash, the Mii Swordfighter gains a mask and horns like the Marauder's for the headwear, and the demonic Sentinel armor and Crucible axe for the outfit itself.
FPS Costume:

V1 (Mii Gunner)
The main protagonist of the indie FPS Ultrakill, V1 is a robot powered by blood. While that of course means he has no chance of being in Smash as a playable character, the second-best option would be to make V1 a Mii Costume. In Smash, V1's head will be the helmet while the body will be V1's, the weapon being the pistol he gains at the start of the game.
Furthermore, with this Mii Costume, there is an option to pick between the normal voicelines and the TTS voice that is used in Ultrakill.
Doom Mii Costume: Cacodemon Hat
View attachment 359722
This costume will be exactly like the Cacodemon hat from the Cacomallow leak but with Cacodemon's Eternal desing
FPS Mii Costume: Gordon Freeman (Swordfighter and Gunner)
View attachment 359724
I don't see us adding Gordon at this point so let's give him a costume, the headwear will give the mii Gordon's hair, beard and glasses and the body will be the HEV suit, if the mii you are using this on is a swordfighter they will be equipped with the crowbar while if the Mii is a gunner they will be equipped with the 9mm pistol.
FPS Mii costume submission:
Resubmission ( Venus of the Desert Bloom )
Simon "Ghost" Riley is a British special forces operator, and a prominent member of Task Force 141, known for his iconic skull-patterned balaclava, headset, and dark red sunglasses. He is also a main character in games that they've been mentioned below.
Also he is one of protagonists from FPS games "Call of Duty", made by Infinity Ward, Treyarch and published by Activision.
Ghost appears as a main character in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2", "Modern Warfare 2: Ghost", "Call of Duty: Online", "Find Makarov: Operation Kingfish", "Call of Duty: Heroes", and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered". He also appears as a customization option in "Call of Duty: Ghosts".
Ghost is fan-favorite character amongst the CoD fans and he could fit as a mii costume in smash. Even Simon Riley/Ghost appeared on Nintendo console.
As Mii Costume, it would consist of:
- Headgear: His mask with skull emblem printed on. Also it has his headphones on ears and glasses on eyes. It would cover mii's head.
- Outfit: His black jacket with black pants along with black boots.
- Weapon: His gun would be his weapon that he holds in hands.
Why Simon Riley:I chose Simon as Mii costume, because Call of Duty is very popular franchise and it deserves to be in smash, since smash is celebration of gaming and Call of Duty played huge role in Gaming History because or revolutionizing FPS games and fans like it.
Besides that, a lot of CoD characters could fit as Mii Costumes, especially the gunner ones and I think Simon "Ghost" Riley could make sense.
Also Call of Duty is responsible for modern FPS Multiplayer games, which is also important for gaming history.
Here they are in listed form...FPS Mii Costume: Heavy (Team Fortress 2)
I believe Heavy can be a suprise mii costume pick in general if added. His Mii Fighter would actually be a Mii Brawler where he would use his red boxing gloves to fight. Now if for a Mii Gunner, he would use a mini-version of his Sasha like this and that includes that he would look like as a Mii Costume in general.
There are still plenty of choices; especially considering there are (potentially) only two more characters left. The final 2 are up for grabs for both first and third party. There is a potential scenario where the rest end up being first party.Nice job killing off the chances of some of the few good third party options left, guys.
Even as someone who really wanted Dante, I dont think this comment is really fair. Some of our best additions have been the "unexpected " characters. Just because these two big speculation names are out of the running doesn't mean there aren't optionsNice job killing off the chances of some of the few good third party options left, guys.
I completely disagree on the notion that unexpected means good. I'd say 90% of the unexpected picks here are pretty awful, myself.Even as someone who really wanted Dante, I dont think this comment is really fair. That's not what I said. There are definitely some " surprise for the sake of being surprise" picks that I dislike. But I also think it's not very interesting if we just want for the characters who always got brought up. And I say this as a fan of both Dante and TravisI completely disagree on the notion that unexpected means good. I'd say 90% of the unexpected picks here are pretty awful, myself.
My point is that we've done more than enough surprise picks here. Each official Smash game has only done about 1 or 2, we've added about a dozen. We don't need any more surprise or WTF picks. I fail to see the problem with adding characters people genuinely want. That's not what I said. There are definitely some " surprise for the sake of being surprise" picks that I dislike. Have you every considered the idea that people genuinely want picks like Marin, a PS rep, or Crazy Dave? They wouldn't have won otherwise - and don't say "a PS rep was forced", non-Sony characters were submitted and accepted. The thread still chose Ratchet. My point is that we've done more than enough surprise picks here. Each official Smash game has only done about 1 or 2, we've added about a dozen.
