lol, I think it is because of the permanent wall.
A lot of characters gets silly exploits from it. A.K.A. it is broken.

Sounds like entirely your fault. :p
No, the stage is janky and I shouldn't have to worry about fighting my opponent AND avoiding the lava that is out to get me.
Corneria should be legalized again. The only real reason it was banned was because of DDD's popularity and he's not even that great anymore.
WRONG!!
More like if you are facing left and the opponent is positioned to the left of you.
The stage more or less overcentralizes around camping 1 ******** spot. Think of it like a safer more cave like area similar to the one on PS1 (left side of the rock transformation). There is a wall that blocks most approach options and enables a bunch of locks and infinites, random lasers that can **** block an aerial approach and even if you get there, people can Up B OoS to the ledge with impunity.

Oh I just accidently quoted you.

Just to add, the fact that Corneria doesn't transform is another BIG BIG reason that sets it apart from currently legal stages. The only non-transforming stages legal are FD and BF and they don't have brokenly good camping spots. Other stages with notably ridiculous places to camp are Castle Siege (the flags hanging about the statues), Delfino (pretty much everything), both pokemon stadiums and RC. All of these are not a problem because the smart and simple solution is to just wait until that camping spot disappears/scrolls away etc. Corneria introduced a static prime location for pitching a tent of solid steel. This is far far worse than Japes imo because running away like a douche isn't very character specific.

Not to mention, since most of the fighting will be centralized around controlling this little area, the random lasers are gonna be a more constant issue.

Eh, well the part that matters doesn't "transform". The moving part of SV arguing creates a camping issue with scrooging.

Scrooging is only a problem for characters who don't have a projectile and even then, it's just another strong tactic. You guys make it seem like MK can air dodge and use his B moves while he is gliding.

Because that would be silly Twinkie

@Tesh: Yeah, losing Pictochat hurts us.

But it crosses my line of "too much interference" and I can't really support it.

YI:brawl is questionable, but the support ghosts usually don't interfere so much that a worse player will win...so I'll support it for now I guess, but it's still debatable in my book.
