She can answer better than I, but I think she just bought plastic spray paint, took apart the controller and taped it, then spraypainted it. It's still on there a year later, though the handles are kind of worn down.

But yeah, she can give you a better answer lol.

Well unfortunately, I lost my triwing....I took the controller apart. Like, Jordan said, I taped it up using painter's tape to get the triforce on there and just painted it and then peeled the tape. I still have my spray paints though. If you are creative enough, you could try to make the handles textured so there is a grip to it. I suggest trying to paint it with the least amount of layer so it doesn't crack. And then I spray painted the whole thing with a glossy finish. You should wait at least 24 hrs per layer and do this outside of course.

I was wondering if you had stuff like sandpaper
and I'm still trying to decide on my design.. what colors do you have for paint?
definitely doing a blue background.. maybe a golden/yellow starfox logo on light blue paint
