Also Lag-fi sucks when you go to offline tourneys.

BTW SK92 is hosting a monthly here in Vegas, starting on the 24th. I'll be there of course, to rep the Hedgehog.

The old TO is retiring I think, at least SK92 is going to have monthlies on a Saturday which is more easily accessible than Mondays. >.>

5th- Espy (Sonic)

I did pretty well. I played Hylian's Ice Climbers, and only got grabbed in the 3 rounds we played (although he only played two matches with ICs). It was steak though: I didn't get grabbed in one entire match by the ICs.

Then I played a really good Wario. Beat it in a really close set of games.

Then I played Fliphop's Diddy, and lost. It was a great set, and it was recorded. I'll link it in the WSC later.

Then I played Sam's Luigi, and it beat me pretty modestly. By modest, I mean that he beat me with one stock, but still in small percents (40-50%). He just got the better of me in the sets is all. I'll kick his arse next time.

I'm happy though. Now, I wanna go report this to the Character Ranking thread.

Congrats, Espypuff.

Wow, that's the first time I've seen samboner (Fox, and maybe Luigi) pop up in an offline tourney. I haven't heard any news about him since the summer, but back then, people used to say that he only played online. If he hasn't already, now he has offline stuff to show for his skill

Kind of weird though, alot of the people I played online on AiB seem to be placing really well in their offline tourneys, even if they haven't done so previously XD

@ Tenki: He took out me and K Prime with Luigi only. A **** shame too, I wanted to play his Fox.

It was my second time ever playing a Luigi, my first time playing a competent one.
It was tough, but I think I got the match down pat.

Besides, Hylian's ICs were the FIRST TIME I've ever played against ICs in tourney.
I just kept telling myself "Don't get grabbed".

Oh, 2nd in dubz with a C Falc(Lolz) and 5th out of 18 i think... f D3 and gay chaingrabs...

Yesterday/today's tourney, 5th out of 16, and undefeated sets in dubz with C Falc. He took 3rd in the singles

I'm applying for a part time job on wednesday. So I can go get my driver's licence,because I can't have one unless I can pay for the insurance. Then I have to prove that I'm a safe enough driver to my Mom so that she'll let me borrow her car to take me to Rochester for the tourney KID mentioned a while back.

Wish me luck,it's going to be a royal pain getting it all together. In fact I don't really think I'm going to make itXD But expect me to start hitting tourneys in the near furure. Who knows? I might even start going on a winning steak lol

Hmm... I thought this would be the proper thread, since it came from the result of a tournament, but pay clsoe attention to the bolded part...:

4: Espy ($ 48.00) (Sonic) -> I have to say I'm glad that we didn't play anything aside from three friendlies when I first got there at Nike20s. It made our matches that much more epic during the tournament. I'm still a little confused as to how we were seeded, but meh. Good ****, you make Sonic look great, it's a shame that the boards for him don't.

I'm glad to see people are saying Sonic is (somewhat) good, but are we destroying him? I feel lame if I'm making a cool character hated by everybody else...

Anyway glad to see that even though Sonic dropped in Koku's now fully updated tourney results thread, he still hit his apex (I think).

Edit: I quoted that from the link Napi gave in the tourney results thread. I know it technically is on the internet for anybody to see, it still wasn't my business to find it, but still...
