Sonic Player Rankings

Points will be awarded to players based on an equation that weighs placement and money earned. The formula for points is as follows:

R = ((P^-1)xE/5)+(W/E), where R is ranking points, P is placement as a fraction, E is entry fee, and W is winnings. (W/E) is always greater than or equal to 0, E/5 will always be at least 1, and if there are ever winnings but no entry fee, entry fee will be treated as $5. So, for example:

R = ((3/100^-1)x(10/5))+(75/5)
R = (100/3 x 2) + 15
R = (33.333 x 2) + 15
R = 66.667 + 15

Once I get all of the data collected I will post it here

I did in the early non meaningful ones, but nothing i would consider anything worth really telling people i played. I lost to with him and had to change in teh later ones so i guess thats what i meant

1st i got 5th where i lost to a noob snake that jabbed the **** out of me............this guy sucked >_>
*but the tourney was running out of time and he made it one stock 2 min T-T

2nd ummm was a tourney i lost to a fox in winners and let my friend win in losers so i could go lay outside
got like 19th

realized i did'nt like brawl for sure that night lol always knew it on the inside though

my last tourney i sold my seat in the tourney to go watch that jackie chan/jet li movie lol and that was about a month and a half ago

Yeah i Main a sonic and i beat the majority of the players i play against, he is a pretty **** good character If you get to know
him (i bet im not the only one saying this). I personally think nintendo made the 3rd party players different to use due to them being "3rd party" and from different worlds so their way of fighting should be different from the others.

But yeah, recently I entered a tournament on the 9th (of may),called "Mass Madness" an hour away from where i live in Massachusetts in a town called framingham. It was held in an arcade with tons of ppl but no sonic players n i was like wtf im the only one? Wait nvm there was one other but he didnt make it far. I used sonic and i lost my first match to a kirby (shut up -__-;; ) but then i one 2 matches in the losers brackets to a zelda and an olimar (the chick playing the olimar called me a ****ing camping sonic, bull shet! >=o ). I lost after that to a Fair spamming marth but he was rlle cool guy =]

PC Chris was there to, He plays with snake, and pulled off **** ive never seen b4! he did like some sort of up b cancel and shot up b motars like nothing acrosss the whole stage soo fast, i felt bad for the dude that was facing him =\.There was alot of other good people to like korean dj, my friend lost to his ike.

But yeah idk if i rlle have a point to this other than just saying i didnt make it far in the tourny with sonic. I need more training, and i think he has sooo much potential! In the tournament i go nothing but good comments about my sonic wich is very encouraging =]. And there is a big community with other sonic players coughdnescough that is rlle cool and very helpfull towards the development of my Sonic. Idk im rambling again, bye! =X

I think I was the other Sonic he talked about, I chatted with him a bit. As it turned out he was friends with a mutual friend of mine there.

I did terrible in the tourney but since you keep asking Memphis I placed 49th of 87 at XESTICLE(although the computer issues meant, according to the bracket my one, and only, win(against a wario NO LESS!) wasn't counted) and 65th out of 97 at MM9. I think you can figure out the dates. You were at both events after all. :-P

I'm new to the tourney scene. Need to work on my overall game alot more. I don't use grabs or spot dodges(to escape) grabs enough. I think, in the back of my head, I get really intimidated. As I look back at my matches now and see so many things I would never have normally done. Like trying to Lucas with Dair at any percent above mid. Going anywhere near an incoming PK Freeze and such. Need more play with good players to shake my jitters and work on my overall game.

I'm johning bad here.

I'll do better with Sonic at the next tourney. I'm **** determined.

Oh, and Andee, I watched that match. Soon as I saw you and Emmy playing I had to. You did camp her. It's a strat and it worked for you so I can't call you a scrub or anything. You played **** well in that match. Sonic's not super easy to camp with, not effectively anyway. You played that match smart. Oli can wreck Sonic if you're not careful.

PC Chris was there to, He plays with snake, and pulled off **** ive never seen b4! he did like some sort of up b cancel and shot up b motars like nothing acrosss the whole stage soo fast, i felt bad for the dude that was facing him =\.There was alot of other good people to like korean dj, my friend lost to his ike.

But yeah idk if i rlle have a point to this other than just saying i didnt make it far in the tourny with sonic. I need more training, and i think he has sooo much potential! In the tournament i go nothing but good comments about my sonic wich is very encouraging =]. And there is a big community with other sonic players coughdnescough that is rlle cool and very helpfull towards the development of my Sonic. Idk im rambling again, bye! =X

Dude I've played at that store! I'm in concord, went down in feb. to play the japanese version. Do you know when their next tournament(s) are???
