The rubberhose cup himself, Cuphead wallops the competition! Coming from MDHR Studios, Cuphead could be a zoner fighter who could switch attacks. He could also use attacks based on rubberhose animation. Overall, Cuphead would be a really cool fighter.

Yes, he's somewhat of a meme pick, but with the popularity of Undertale, I don't think he would be completely unwarranted and he would be an indie game rep, something Smash lacks. I'm choosing him over Frisk because of how many see him as the face of Undertale and one of the first things that comes to mind when thinking of it and for his overall popularity. His moveset would be based around his battle at the end of the genocide playthrough.

Despite Shovel Knight being, firstly, an indie character, and secondly, an Assist Trophy, I think it makes little to no sense to say "NO HE CAN'T BE IN" because he would work so well. Originating from the Shovel Knight series, a perfect homage to the platformers of the NES days, a lot of his attacks are quite easy to work in, as well as other content like music, Spirits and stages able to be taken from the vast amount of music, characters and locations seen in the Shovel Knight series.

Not only this, but his appearance? Already solved - instead of going the Blade Strangers route, we use the model that is already in Smash Bros. But what about his attacks? Well, he has various different attacks with his shovel, as well as tons of special abilities in the form of Relics he gets from bosses he gets throughout the source material! And if there's not enough here? Well, Custom Knight has even more! Not only this, but he (and Custom) have tons of Charge skills that would work wonders as Smash attacks!

And his presence in the gaming sphere? Well, Shovel Knight was critically acclaimed - and not only this, Shovel Knight has enough of a presence with Nintendo that the series actually has no less than 5 Amiibo to its name! So... yeah, I think Shovel Knight is a cool pick here.

Hell yeah! I think it would actually be really cool to see. I mean, it's a step toward something I always thought would be cool - other content being added in each Challenger Pack. For instance, I felt that a Creeper AT would have been perfect for Steve - likewise, a Jack Frost AT would have been amazing for Joker. I'm not thinking for every single one, but it would have been nice y'know?
