I'm really good in fox dittos but I wanted to learn how to fight fox with shiek. How do you gimp him at low percents?

Do you guys find a difference when fighting mario and dr. mario?
I played my friend on friday and he uses mario and it felt slightly different from dr.mario.

As soon as you force him to up B below the stage, you should have him dead. Some situations are harder to convert than others, but that should be your aim, at least in friendlies.

If you're close to the edge:

Throw off > run off FF DJ nair
Throw off > SH bair
Throw off > wait

If you're not close to the edge (but they still go off if they DI in)

Throw off > needle
Throw off > run off nair
Throw off > wait

That should get you started.

You can jump and bair more vs a grounded Doc because he doesn't have the giant f-smash. Otherwise, no real difference. Doc hurts a bit more when he hits you.

Hey Sheik boards, I'm new to Sheik and melee in general (former brawl player). Which characters does sheik team well with?

peach

in terms of players shiek works best with a teammate that can appoach while shiek goes for gimps.

Sounds like Peach, Fox, and Puff are the way to go. Out of curiosity how do Sheik and Falco work with eachother? I've never seen vids of them together.

Falco shoots people trying to edgeguard Sheik

Falco shoots Sheik during recovery to cancel lag

Falco beats up people trying to edgeguard Sheik and then combos into a gimp setup that either he does or Sheik does

They combo with each other and are good at playing tennis together (Sheik has a good vert. kill for vs floaties at the end of a rally)

Shiek and peach is sooooo good.

Sheik assist, peach approaches. Peach dsmash ( most likely sends them behind) shiek goes for ez edge guard.

Sheik/ peach has the best aerial team combos.

I believe you can ftilt into a dash grab or dash attack if you predict their DI.
If they don't DI and go straight up, nair or fair him, and get a follow up attack when they hit the ground.
If they DI to the right or left, ftilt again if possible and repeat.

Basically just don't let him hit the ground, and stay on him heavily when you hit him.

This is good advice, but I just wanted to add: Watch out for random Up-Bs from Link.

Smooth Criminal
Agreed. If he's up in your face and u-b's (which A LOT of them do), shield it, and shield grab him, and follow what I said.

If he's too far away to be shield grabbed, wavedash OoS and grab if you can. If you can't get the grab, it's best to back off for a bit, because he'll try to space himself as much as possible from you with projectiles and aerials.

EDIT: I've only played a few Links before, but doing all this seemed to work for the most part.
I don't know if Stro's Link is on YouTube. He's a smasher from Pittsburgh area.

bula you shouldn't be doing those punishments vs. link. it makes sheik way worse than she is. If there's a chaingrab, we need to learn the chaingrab.

also-- dthrow-ftilt-grab doesn't work vs. DI away
