Shiek can also mix in fairs from the ledge and retreat back to it (Fox can't). It puts the enemy in a very unfavorable position if they approach the ledge (which they have to). No one really abuses this too much though. Amsah really only abused it on Jman last stock. I honestly think its ban worthy its just another version of jiggs rising pound.

well you see the magic of rising pound iirc is you could do it say... underneath dreamland.
also you cant do any move at all while shino stalling except up b (and doesnt foxes fire do damage anyway?)
unless you stop it doing it and do a ledgehop... in that case why dont we ban people from ledgehopped attacks?

p.s gimpyfish will kill u in ur sleep if u agree with the last part

-stand on the edge of one of the middle platforms on yoshis (the edge that's closest to the blast zone)
-standing up b, then hold down, then release like a shino stall. You do the standing up b animation, fall through the platform, and grab the edge.
u can do this from the ledgehang on yoshis.

drop down, double jump, upb instantly, if u space it right u double poofey on the platform and go back to ledge.

i've regular stall poofed people onto the platform, then followed up with double poofy (although uair is 3x better:embarrass)

the platform double is good for people that camp on top of the plat trying to space out your ledgedash

um....poof...:)

I was trying to jab reset --> dash u-smash, which can hit twice and do 28% but I haven't practiced that in months and kept screwing it up.

Also, I like to combo. Tech chase isn't as fun.

what's sheik suppose to do vs luigi? And I know this conversation happened a few pages back, but what's sheik suppose to do vs doc? Let's forget about pills for a moment and talk about the match up.

Pills are the match-up.

Jk. Well, kinda.

Doc's main strengths against Sheik are his grab game and pills imo.

The pill bounce is pretty good for shutting down Sheik's SH game. Nairing through the pills is only so-so good because you're vulnerable to a grab, aerial, spaced dmash, etc. when you land. With timing you can fastfall and roll away before eating Doc's punishment. Buuut, it's pretty risky still.

If you predict a FH pill, you can just run up and nair him I think.

Continuously wavedashing back and needling will force Doc to switch from SH pill to FJ pill. Then you can run under him as he falls down, read his descending aerial and grab, or, if he double jumps, react quickly and punish with a fair.
