What's your worst/Falcon's worst match up?
Everyone seems to have a different opinion on Falcon's worst match up, so I'm curious as to what the general consensus is. But also, what is YOUR worst match up.
I'm curious just because I wanna know who I need to practice more against. Right now I feel like Falco is my worst match up. It's completely because I lack offensive control throughout the entire game.

Im man enough to admit it. I hate you too lol.
I havent tried that **** out of a waveland but Ive done it out of a dash(not a run like jona said) and moonwalked all the way across dreamland. It wasnt tight or anything.
But I moonwalk the same with all my characters because I use the dash for more momentum and sometimes a WD or WL.

The difference between the colors is how they collide with the stage and the stage only. The only difference it really makes is some colors get pushed off the platform in peach's castle if you down smash and some don't.
Also I does Sugoi Kawaii Moechan switch colors? Because that pretty much decides who wins this argument.
And Blue is best.

shiek is definately falcon's worst matchup followed by falco then fox.

I don't think shiek is falcons worst match up..
I think its falco shiek fox..
And fox isn't even all that bad anymore I have more trouble playing marth then i do fox..
And speaking of falcon vs marth..
I just recently had a MM this weekend going falcon against a marth and my nairs were not able to go in.
I kept getting punished by utilts and since this marth knew how to space in a sort of unorthodox way he kept dolphin slashing out of shield when my percents were around 50.
it was weird..
How do i play falcon against marth?
and marths that have sort of an unorthodox style.
Any informative input would be helpful

I've always found sheik to be the worst, followed by falco, followed by fox, but it's become more and more obvious to me that the only thing worse than sheik gimps and falco pressure is a top fox doing both at the same time...

am i the only person who finds all the matchups from like peach upwards to be equally hard and/or easy?
literally every matchups as falcon becomes a matter of dash dance/mindgames -> moveset -> get off. whether you win or lose is based entirely on if you can pull this 4 times in a match.
its funny cuz it doesnt matter whether you're fighting fox/sheik/falco/marth/peach they all have some seriously gay **** regardless so i have no least favorite matchup to be honest.
p.s. Pink falcon all dai. and i think changing colors is more of a spacie thing to do.

honestly, youre right. fox is probably the worst matchup but i hate falco more mostly because of the lasers. he's easier to kill though, i guess

I think Sheik is the worst by a little, then the spacies. Honestly, I think Jiggs belongs in there also. I think it's an extremely difficult matchup for Falcon.

sheik is the worst, her tech chasing is so gay and hard to get out of. her ftilt goes through all your moves, and her autocombos are so gay.
i cant pick whos harder, fox or falco. fox can just spam nair(his grab combos are upthrow to nair WTF), while falcos lasers really destroy your ground speed and make you full hop moves to get in. the shine combos from both are pretty brutal.

Getting gayed by marths uptilt can happen to you alot if you are used to going in for grabs after aerials. he can just uptilt, and it comes out so quick and ****s you up. also never try and stomp out of shield, marth can uptilt you before the attack comes out. Just wait until marth uptilts, space just out of his range, then go in for the kill. the lag after uptilt is pretty large so u can get in if you space well.

Yeah, but I think Sheik is worse because she isn't as easy to combo, or maybe I'm just terrible at comboing her at all. But I love that there are SO many different kinds of combos and zero to deaths you can do on the spacies. With Sheik I just have no idea what to do if she keeps DIing away.

with falcon, if they are in the air, their is a way. upair has mad range, or just use super lighting speed and regrab.
i know what you mean about sheik being hard to combo, it just feels like she can get out of stuff really easily. takes away your falcon sense of "i can **** them if i dont mess up"/sense of security O_o
Falcon has actual combos on Sheik. vs. Spacies, you have to get lucky or predict well with some tech chases.
And Falco is worse for him cause Falco regularly 0-deaths CF from his down B.

cf vs fox cf is the only character in the game who has the choice against fox of running away. lasers dont mean anything and foxs utilt has slightly less priority i think. just dont get caught in your shield and smash Di drills and shines. fox dies later than falco but falco is worse because he can combo from nairs. fox can't unless cf just holds down the whole time lol

The worst matchup is either Sheik or Falco. Take a pick. Then Fox. Then I would guess Jigglypuff. Then ICs, Marth, and Peach. Then Pikachu. After that Falcon should have an advantage not even an even matchup after that.

I think pretty much any character is competent against captain falcon once he's hit off the stage, because of his simple recovery

The thing that makes me believe Fox is worse or as bad than sheik is that ALTHOUGH sheik's priority, grabs, techchases walk all over falcon, falcon has guaranteed combos on sheik that are easy to set up once you gain the momentum. Another thing he has on sheik is a guaranteed KO move, uthrow knee. Sheik does have impassable edgeguarding too, but so does fox:
Against Fox, there' is no guaranteed KO move outside of correctly predicted tech punishments. Yes, uthrow knee and fsmash do work if they DI bad (knee works if they DI away at like 150 percent but 150% fox can still KO a 0% falcon). Against falcon with fox, he has a guaranteed KO move at any high percent (uthrow uair or uthrow usmash, waveshine usmash, nair usmash, SO many options). Fox also has the ability to combo falcon off of the stage with waveshines -> dsmash/fthrow at the edge, then he only has 2 things he needs to do to edeguard you. If falcon goes low, shine, if he goes high, keep back airing until he's at KO percent, then let him land on the stage and do something stupid like waveshine usmash or uthrow uair.
Why do I consider Fox worse than falco? One thing is Fox's recovery is better. Not by much, but it does go further which means he can possibly stay out of run off sh uair range, AND his stupid charge flames have a hitbox which might hit you, he recovers and then shine spikes you. Falco's flames don't have a hitbox, so you just run out there and hit him with ANY move and he's dead. The only things falco really has are lasers to stop your approach game and guaranteed 0 - 60%, sometimes higher combos. Fox's combos aren't as guaranteed starting at 0%, but as your percentage gets higher he becomes more dangerous onstage. Falco's have a hard time KOing at higher percentage if you have proper DI. I also believe that falco has slower techs, which may allow for easier reaction-based tech chasing. He also suffers more from being correctly predicted because his recovery is so balls that if he gets knee'd at the edge that's usually the stock.
Fox destroys Falcon's OOS game with his rapid nairs bairs and shines or whatever, but against falco falcon can SH stomp over his shine which could lead into easy techchase or knee. The only thing falco can really do to avoid this is utilt after a shffl aerial or he can just run away and shoot more lasers.

like i'm not just lame against falco, I **** falco's with DK, but I just find approaching Falco's really difficult with lasers unless I'm having a good day and can powershield well, and combos require reads and at least 2-3 outright guesses to get a stock from a grab. and falco does that thing where he hits you and then combos you and then you take a lot of damage or die.
and i really like blue falcon.
