I'm actually very surprised at the attention this is getting for a monthly.

Also considering this is a MK banned event and supposedly people don't want to go to those or something.

Madness! It might be pretty hard for me to make it out of pools, but seeing all these Smashers together in one place again is still satisfying to me. I gotta enjoy tomorrow's time because of this.

The trick is for me to say I'm going to come to your tournament and then I don't show up for it.

MI went from having like 13 people at monthlies to having giant regionals after I bailed, and I can think of a few other situations where the rule applies, say numerous other CHI ran tournaments.

If you throw a tournament people will come, MK banned or not. It may impact certain people/scenes more but generally

You've got roughly 10 atm assuming that Abu doesn't flake out. Dempt has mentioned that he'll enter, but isn't on the pre-reg list, I may possibly enter and then you don't have GunPunch's potential group mentioned nor has anyone that we normally play with short of Fizz and Abu mentioned anything.

I'd imagine somewhere between 16-24ish will be entering for Melee. If PA was actually able to come, you'd be getting more solidly towards 24-30.

Brawl ruleset is announced for Rain 2: MK Legal Apex Rules.

Registration List is now on the 2P.

Setup List is on the 2P.

List of games to be determined: Brawl for sure, PM for sure, Tekken Tag 2 for sure.

"Walk in the Rain" has been changed to "Make it Rain".

Since I ran out of time to do it last time, Paranoid Andriod and Ralph Cecil were the winners of the registration raffle. They both get venue off next event or 5 bucks off their entry.

There will be a setup raffle similar to the Registration one, details to come.

Top 2 winners of Rain Brawl will get free entry into Brawl Singles for Armageddon paid by me.

I, TheKiest, will make it RAIN at RAIN 2 in Brawl and Tekken and will bring 3 TVs and 2 PS3s and 2 Wiis (hopefully).
