Yes you can re-apply. And why is that Eternal Yoshi? You don't have to be some star player to be a playtester, but a good player, with creativity, availability, and at least a fair amount of tech skill.

now i have a question about Link...

in Brawl, link have an Advanced Technique called "Bomb Slide", this is similar to glide tossing, but more effective and more dificult to perform.

This AT is very good for aproach to the enemy, start combos or attacks, for defence, and for mindgames.

the way to perform is is similar that DACUS (Dash Attack Cancel U-Smash)

My question is... is posible perform bomb jump here in P:M???
First off, bomb sliding isn't all that good. As a Brawl Link main who has been watched the metagame develop (and at this point stale), I would know. You're better of JCing bomb throws which is simpler and more controllable.

Secondly, yes it is possibly, however more difficult. I happen to be incorporating DACUS into my game, along with zair, which surprisingly is finding its place (for now, until my opponents learn to CC it with a few matches). So far, Brawl Link and Melee Link are coming together to form PM Link, unlike say PM Marth who is predominantly Melee Marth, save the RAR among other things.

EDIT: Okay, so Bomb sliding isn't possibly bet DACUS is. Sorry for the mistake :p

thanks blu link.

another dmall question, the Zair hit twise like brawl or only one time??
Due to the physics, you will generally only get off one hit. If you space it correctly you could get both. Don't rely on it too much if you plan on using it. It is not as spammable as it was in vBrawl. It's more of a surprise, gtfo kinda move. I like using it against predictable Ganon's who love spamming side B. Leads up to jab or whatever move you want really.

Seeing as how Corneria was idiotically made smaller in Brawl, it's very likely that PS1 is also smaller. However, I'm willing to bet magus got the exact collision layout and numbers so that it might be the same size.

Same size however the windmill is still broken :( That's what's holding it back from the demo. Although PS2 is a lot of fun as well.

but we won't see it until they figure out how to fix the dam windmill

although, what happened to keeping it frozen on grass field?.... not a bad stage

Edit: somewhat ninja'd >>

I always assumed they were smaller. Green Greens for example feels terrible in brawl. Hell, every Melee stage does.

Edit: I remember froho saying something on how to get past the windmill problem by porting PS1 somewhere else or something like that. I may be wrong though, since that was a while ago.

@Whoever was asking about PS1. Magus has not ripped the collision node coordinates for PS1. For now, the only change we really want for PS1 is to have it have the Melee windmill. It isn't easy at all to try and create the melee windmill because they are dynamic collisions in melee. They go from floors to walls to ceilings(I think?). I know it goes from floors -> walls though. We have not been able to make dynamic collisions yet. That is a huge thing that needs to be fixed on PS1.

Change the thread title so people know but leave the "patch not yet out" part there just in case.

Wish I could apply but I don't have anyone to play with nor will I have the time in a few weeks. D:

Man, I would have loved to apply so I could play it at the gaming club at my college. I had people to play with every day and at least a couple who were seriously interested in the project. But I just graduated today >_>

Now I have no one <_<

I've had an application in limbo for weeks, ha.

Monk - the windmill does not turn into a ceiling in melee

Sneak - I'm being a homonym-snob but you said "do to my quality", instead of "due". It's ok though, I only correct people who are cool.

Falco - well... shanus really. Put F400's list into the op (and change the title). With a little extra elaboration there you could easily cut 80% of the nonsensical questions. probably.

Edit
Holy crap the application thread exploded

This might be a really stupid question but has PMBR considered of getting more animators ja coders to the team? I feel like lot of the issues trying to achieve the rigorous Melee-standard are related to how the game looks and sounds. Brawl was not meant to run at the speed P:M is run which leads to many animations looking very ankward and non-sexy, not to mention that many brawl animations are just worse compared to melee. Remember that when trying to achieve the "fluidity" of melee animations play a big part in it. It has already mentioned that there is tons of work to do in fixing animationsand only one person is doing it atm. Maybe P:M would need a "promotion"-team who would work "meleefying" i.e. menus, melee skins, stage hacks and melee audio while the rest of the team can focus on the core aspects of coding. I wish I could somehow reduce the massive workload the whole team is under right now. Should I learn coding by myself? I'm working on a mac so I can't even have brawlbox running properly. I don't want to seem arrogant or cocky but I only wanted to contribute in some way to this awesome project. I'm looking forward to the final project and I encourage the team to ignore the public pressure and take your time with the product (which is what you have done so far).

E: What is the best thing I could do to contribute this project? Donating?

Applied to be a playtester. Just what I needed, actually, motivation to get back into Melee. Also, I really don't remember the windmill getting in the way of matches in Melee quite to the degree it does in Brawl.

Also, Melee stages might seem smaller because they increased the size of characters. Though I think Corneria was legitimately made smaller. They keep making it smaller and smaller, I want my Sector Z back. (I have it back, I just need to resize it because it's scaled to Brawl characters afaik.)

We put off evaluating it until we expanded our official recruiting cycles. Have to make some tweaks to how we manage new entrants as our SVN access is slow to update.

Meh, I just want to help the project in any way I can. I can't lie and say I don't want to try the full build, everyone wants to. But had I not been finished with my degree, I would not have applied. Now I got time, XD.
