Control space. I use lasers, bairs, and utilts to protect myself and keep Fox where I want him. When I get a hit, I do my best to end his stock.

Best way to rush Falco down... hmm... it definitely requires baiting something from him. Whether its running in between bairs/utilts, or getting him to bair above you so you can get under him. Falco can't do **** when he's on the defensive, so once you hit him make sure you keep the pressure on. You don't necessarily have to combo everything, but never let the situation reset to neutral, because neutral against Falco is really in his favor.
wow!!!! I agree with your points. this was really helpful. thank you. for future matches, I'll rush down falco and punish.

So Peepee going to post an analysis (of sorts) about Mango? That'll be a bestseller, for sure.

I hate fighting Doc, and would probably feel discouraged, but that's a little extreme...Wii bowling...

yesterday a marth tried to shieldgrab me so I waveshined out and fsmashed.
I dunno whether this is a situation to set up for or not.

also, what advantages does nair have over bair?

Nair has the advantage when approaching the opponent when they are in the air. For example, when peach floats you can nair her to stop her aerial attack.

Another advantage is his hitbox.

his nair hitbox allows him to shield poke.

I do that sometimes. If it works for you man, more power to you.

Hmm... they are kinda used in different situations so its hard to say.

For starts, nair would probably be your more often used approaching move for obvious reasons, and your more traditional shield pressure, . But bair's hitbox is huge and beats like everything in the game with proper spacing so it has its place.

You should use your shield to stop momentum instead of pivoting. I makes it a little easier to control.

the point of the pivot is to turn around though.
also GuardOn is 6 frames iirc. waste of time. get better imo.

why would IC's approach with bair tho when they can grab or dsmash

pivot bair with falco and DK address a lack of better approach options. falco has dair, nair, dash attack, grab in terms of reliable approach options. other things work however aren't really staple Falco approaches. his bair is amazing. why not pivot it and approach with it?

The problem with that is that there's no momentum. Unless the opponent is stuck at the edge, you can't really go forward with it, so dash dance grab / aerial will definitely beat it. If you're retreating with the bair then it's ok, but then it wouldn't really be an approach anymore right?

I can see why you'd do it with DK though. Poor DK =(

A similar idea, running shine -> turnaround -> bair has worked for me a few times. Not saying it's godlike or anything, but as a mix up it's not bad. Shining on the ground just out of their range works nicely to bait them into the following bair.
