Elaborate on how it isn't mocking me.

I'm sure tje people laughing about it are laighing at the fact that tjey think I posted something stupid

@pp : If mango doesn't pull out the puff at
Genesis, you should mm him just to say you've played his puff before. Maybe if u get the crowd to say his puff sucks he'll take it out of wanting to prove a point. He seems to respond to the doubters. I know you've wanted that puff for a long time. Falco dittos I feel like it could go either way. Mango's fox, ****'s pretty scary when he plays it for a few hrs non stop, but u got this pp.

Kage for top 10 at Genesis :)

PP thinks that falco loses to every character on every stage, theres no point in asking about matchups...<3333

That's a good point though, I didn't consider how his puff was really the basis for his play in general; its sort of a deeper connection I guess.

doesnt pp think that falco beats puff though? either way, i'd really like to see him try to take mangos puff out, even though if mango is on point, i dont think it will happen.

as in no one knows so there's no point in speculating, or as in it's not good anymore?
as in he's never gonna play it again. but also i seriously doubt he could take PP's falco. dont forget he never played a falco that understood the matchup with his puff. he doesnt have practice, in addition to being horrendously out of practice with the char in general

he could possibly be practicing his *** off behind the scenes with puff, although doubtful, i wouldnt put it past him, wanting to make a miraculous reappearance as the champ.

PP, what do you think of Falco's match ups vs Fox on different stages?

What are your preferences and beliefs?
I swore I posted about this a few pages ago and even did so in the matchup thread lol(can't blame you for not looking since I've been lame and not updating it), but I'll go for it again.

YS- I like this stage but I think Fox wins here. Platform sizes(particularly the top one) combined with small stage size can put Fox on top of Falco with a well spaced Nair or Bair in a second and allow him to control the match quickly. They both punish each other pretty hard here, but at the same time they get a nice big wall to ride for their up-Bs as well as Randall to aid their recoveries. Small ceiling helps with shine to up-Bs for Falco and Uair/Usmash kills for Fox.

FD- Highly momentum based. CGs take a while and are easy to do and lead into death or situations that basically lead to death(upsmash that sends Falco far offstage instead of kills). Falco gets easier combos(not necessarily harder but that's another debate) that could kill sooner as well as more laser control so it's possible for Falco to get a hard combo in and then keep control of the game in that way. I used to like it vs Fox until I realized just how bad the CGs were....now it's not worth the combos to me.

PS- I like it vs Fox but this is also kinda momentum based. Room to laser but platforms to escape CGs is cool, but I hate fighting Fox on the transformations. Kinda depends on how you feel about those I suppose.

FoD- I'm pretty sure Fox wins here but I'm also kinda uncomfortable on it. Lasers get screwed with by platform heights in exchange for more of Falco's move coverage(like Dair, Bair, Dsmash, uptilt, etc). Fox gets good move coverage here too, and they both kill pretty well, although Fox has a harder time killing vertically like he likes to due to the higher ceiling.

BF- I like it and I guess Falco wins on it? The platform lengths aren't quite as good for Fox here as they usually are(well the top one isn't but the side ones are great for him actually come to think of it). I combo well with Falco here and it's tough to recover due to the lack of wall to ride/tech against so it seems solid enough.

DL- If you like camping, then go here. Fox will probably do it too though. Combos are kinda hard here at times since there's a lot of stage to DI into, but Fox has a tough time outright killing as well since the blast zones are so big. I still think Fox would kill earlier since he's got a much more likely chance to kill Falco when Falco goes offstage than vice versa but eh.
PS: I hate this stage vs Fox so I ban it lol.

RC- I think Fox wins because he's faster and the ceiling is low and the stage isn't good for lasers to control since it's a horizontal control but I rarely do the matchup here.

BS- Never played it here.

KJ64- Fox probably wins since there's a lot of stage to camp on and no platform for Falco to camp under, but the platforms are higher so Falco's big jumps help him extend/finish his combos easier in that way. I don't play that matchup here either lol.

That puff it's pretty legendary. It's faced all 3 sages of marth, pc, chu, armada. I don't think he's ever used it against kdj sheik. Yeah mango's pu If I feel is the basis for all of his characters. I wonder if pp will have the same ability to transition his style to his secondaries. I've heard about that pp falcon, but still haven't seen it.

Thx PP.

I think I feel the same way on many of the things you described.

I like PS, BF, YI, and DL64 vs Fox the most.

DL feels like it is extremely dependent on how well you can stifle Fox's movement because he has more options to circumvent your spacing and lasering. I agree with you on not liking it vs Fox.

Wanna bet on it?

I would put money on mango's puff against anyone, if anyone in this thread wants to take me up on that, just let me know the amount.

I'd only bet on it if we it was on the finals at genisis. In that case, I would bet on whoever I thought was going to win at that moment. arbitrarily, I think foxlisk is only being logical - problem is, mango defies logic.

edit: the state of his puff that is

2: has he not played puff in doubles?

Honestly Mango reminds me of a better version of KDJ that plays Falco. KDJ is probably my favorite player of all time because he was just ****ing ridiculous and unorthodox and had a stupidly large bag of tricks. Mango is an equally tricksy ****er and his style makes it seem like he doesn't give a **** even when he's in tryhard mode. As long as he's in practice, I still personally think Mango is the best player in the world. Having said that, I don't think he's unbeatable either. There are a few people knocking right on the front door...Most particularly PP Armada and Hbox. That's not really the point of this thread though.

Peepee, I hope you make it to Zenith. I'm planning to go and I'd really like to get some falco dittos/advice. I won't be able to make it to G6 sadly.

I'm almost definitely NOT going to Zenith I'm afraid =( And I'm also super sad you can't come to G6 =((((

Maybe at Genesis 2 or before then we'll have some shot of doing stuff.

I've been considering CEO, but the expense for going to Florida probably won't be worth it. Isn't CEO gonna be like 100 or less people? I'm mostly trying to save money for a trip out to Genesis.

we hate you too.

mango's puff is not worth worrying about anymore. and PP will beat his fox with ease. if Mango goes Falco the set will be close but like... idk, unless PP chokes because OMG ITS MANGOO000HNOO i think he'll win. mango's great and he had his era but you can't maintain that with absolutely no effort. even if mango wins it's not gonna be a shut down. he's gonna have to work his *** off.

jumping off and lasering sounds too risky. lasers dont cover a lot of space (vertically speaking) so if you just, like, miss, **** could go wrong. and then you're off stage with no DJ and that's just... that's just not good.
I think you're making a lot of assumptions you're really not in a position to make.

Everytime I've kinda thought something like "oh whatever mango's puff is washed up", he busts it out in teams and does amazing things. Granted its teams but still.

You are clearly trolling me here lol.
Dude, no one is trolling you.

We get it, you've beat mango before. ok.
Cyrain was just making to point that that there are some clearly more apt players in a position to consistently beat him nowadays because their skill levels are more close to his.
No offense, but just because you beat him ~2 years ago, I don't think anyoe considers you in his league or in a position to do it again.

Not trolling, just being honest.

Especially after Kage lost to his Link and a Marth that didn't even grab.
I'm just saying I still <3 you Kage

as far as Mango's Puff goes
it could or could not come out
I think if Mango is gonna try he's not gonna use EVERYONE
imagine
Falco, Falcon, Marth, Puff, Sheik,Fox, Mario (lol) yeah that's a lot of characters

Personally I <3 his Falco the most
And I just think that Falco dittos are sexyyy~

@ Kage, I'm not trolling you. You're extremely good and beating Mango is definitely an accomplishment. Really though I wasn't really talking about beating Mango himself, but just being on his level/winning international tournaments. All of the players I've listed are very very very likely candidates to win or place in the top 5 of pretty much any given tournament, proven by the fact that they've already done so repeatedly. I've taken matches/sets off of plenty of high/top level players, but at the end of the day I'm still not making top 8. That's what's really gonna count. Keep that training up and show 'em what's what at Genesis. I hope I can make it and do the same.

Yea you are THAT far off, get some humility, mango is much better than you.

You've jokingly talked about beating him so much, I don't think it's a joke to you anymore. You legitimately think you're top 10 material. I know I'll never be a tenth as good as you, and you should know that you're worse than mango.

kage beat mango twice, going through his falco and puff. Amazing accomplishment. I don't know all of his accomplishments, but i know he has taken sets off pretty much every player. Kage is obviously a super talented player and you have no idea wtf youre talking about.

If ganon couldnt get gayed so bad by certain top tier characters (sheik and falco IMO) i wouldn't be surprised if kage was seen more often in national finals.

Ya.. That is the choice I made for myself. =P

Ya that's most likely true, but I don't give a ****. The likelihood of someone placing Top 5 means nothing to me.. You shouldn't give a **** either, one by one just destroy them that's all there is to it.

Get some humility lol, how can you say that when you know nothing about me? It's called having feelings, do you have any? Again rankings don't mean **** to me. I will destroy all of them!

****. Just. Got. Real. @_@

No johns about my character choice.. =P Maybe it's not the best choice but I know I can definitely win vs anyone.
