Just space perfectly w/ bair while using it as a run away move. Oh yeah, punishing it is hard in the air when you can't sheild anything and prediction needs to be much more precise.

G&W can definately mix up his game.

Why did you cry? That video doesn't show anything other than a G&W turtling shields point blank directly out of a full hop while not aircontrolling at all away.

The sad part is that a video like that will probably make people think GaW needs to go down even lower on the tier list. It didn't show any new information, and it hardly makes the move bad.

old news. people have been doing that to me at tournaments for a good 6-8 months now.
this is why i don't use much bair and prefer nair and fair over it. lol

i was second out of my pools,with lain being first(he ***** me btw lmao)
beat snakee which was good,but it was already 9pm and pools wasn't over-.-
so i had to drop lol, and after all that confidence i got

my friend needs help with the DK match up. can anyone explain how he is supposed to play it correctly.

a brief summary is fine.

Fullhopped aerials ****, N-air out of shield *****, D-tilt ***** on BF (hits DK through the platforms from above), then you edgeguard with disjointed aerials like F-airs and slowfall D-airs. Learn to not get owned by random gimmicks like airdodge -> U-tilt, charged Smashes, and the <100% getup attack (it crosses you over on block, so either turnaround grab/F-air/F-smash or D-smash out of shield, and then ****** his other getups is very easy). Beating DK is all about matchup experience (I've played SRK and Dantarion a fair bit), not taking unnecessary risks until he's in a position where he can't deal with them.

My G&W has been playing completely differently than most for quite some time, I just need more tournament experience. I've learned to do tricks like the F-air getup, D-tilt platform abuse on BF, ways to space N-air to combo into D-smash, and I fullhop F-air all the time.

By the way, no good G&W should buffer SH B-air as an approach. Everyone at this point should know that it's amazing when fastfalled.

Guys, guys, guys~! I went to a tournament here in OH this weekend. And there were some new players we never saw. And about three new GnW mains! O: I was so happy. And they knew the basics and such, too. So yay being more of us!

I'm a bit behind, but yeah, Lain knows the match up **** well, 99% by NoJ, 1% by me. I think I've beaten him maybe once in like like, dozen+ matches I've played him.
