I had time for it. Heck, if you hadn't written that response you probably could have had time to read it too.Stop typing paragraphs people. Ain't nobody got time for that ****.
EhIntroductionBelow you will find the 2013 tier list for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Unlike last time, this iteration is once again based on votes only. This wasn’t entirely by choice, as we were faced with the unfortunate reality that monetary data is no longer updated and matchup chart v3 will probably require at least another month before completion. Not all is the same as the tier lists of old however, as this time around we opted to ask the community for their opinion. Major thanks to Kewkky for overseeing this:
Official BBR's Community Tier List Voting
The above list was added to the 29 BBR votes and counted 5 times, meaning it ended up as roughly 1/7 of the total vote. In the Excel file below you will find the ordered list of characters with their point total, the standard deviations and highest and lowest ranking, in addition to the gaps between characters. Note that for each character the highest and lowest placing were not counted to somewhat correct for outlier votes.

This resulted in the following tier list:

The rules we applied were the following:
-No single character tiers past top tier.
-For the top tier (S-A), tier gaps were placed wherever character gaps exceeded 1.
-For high and upper mid tiers (B-C), tier gaps were placed wherever character gaps exceeded 1.25.
-For mid tier and below (D-F), tier gaps were placed wherever character gaps exceeded 1.5.
-Sheilda was fixed in place directly above Sheik, as the benefits to the combination make that entity marginally better.
The gradual increase in character gaps was implemented under the assumption that we can be less specific about character potential as we move to the lower parts of the list. Those characters are typically represented significantly less at a high competitive level than their higher tiered brethren.
With Zero Suit Samus moving up, we found it was time to re-evaluate our tier labels and started high tier past the top 7, whereas before it started after Wario. We did this based on how people discussed the characters as well as where those who included tier labels in their vote put them. It was a somewhat tough call to make as the intuitive gap between Falco and Pikachu for many people is less pronounced than that between Wario and Lucario. However, the alternative would be to have a whopping ten characters considered top tier and have high tier reach even further, which seems like a stretch considering how few characters have solo success at the highest level. The ten characters currently considered top and high tier have an impact on the metagame and can be expected to place well in capable hands, a quality that quickly diminishes after.
Finally, the tier list allows for more freedom for mid and low tier tournaments, as for the first you could opt to also include at least the C- tier, whereas for the latter you could opt to include the lower mid tier.

This is the greatest first post anyone has ever made imo.
EhThis is the greatest first post anyone has ever made imo.
That's not your first post nor did you quote a giant post before posting that.
Because Wolf is hidden top tier, and is way better than that ****** FoxWhy Wolf?
It is only a matter of time before wolf ascends to take his rightful throneWhat? xD
That describes every character in the game. Why is Wolf so special?way better than that ****** Fox
Duh
What is Metaknight's potential again ?
What else would he be right about? That MK has potential to be beautiful?
's fine where he is. Top of mid tier suits him perfectly. He could move down or up 1 or 2 spots, but only if other characters seemingly get worse in people's eyes or he starts to lack performances in tournaments. The only "active" s are me and Ish, but we do fine. Kain and I will be at Phoenix Saga 6 on Dec 7th so he'll likely have good placings there unless we play each other early and then get bracket ****ed. has results at both regional and local levels. The only place he lacks good performances is at nationals, but most mid tier and low tier characters do not hold a candle at nationals either. The only mid tier I've ever seen break top 10 at a national was Ocean.Because Wolf is hidden top tier, and is way better than that ****** Fox
Duh
Sktar 1:The only mid tier I've ever seen break top 10 at a national was Ocean.
Give him the benefit of the doubt
I normally wouldn't and I don't imagine he thought about any of this but you can't make those assumptions when trying to refute an argument
Fool. Soon you will understand the power of bair and not being grabbed.'s fine where he is. Top of mid tier suits him perfectly. Anti secondaries the entire castAnti secondaries DK?
It's pretty easy to not get grabbed as unless you use , jump into someone's shield, or have godlike tunnel vision. If I get grabbed as then I messed up my spacing on a move that practically lends itself to not getting grabbed. 's bair is probably the best back air for a multitude of reasons.Fool. Soon you will understand the power of bair and not being grabbed.
Pretty much^.9th isn't top 10, it's top 12.
Though in your defense top 10 doesn't exist in standard double elimination brackets lol.
Lucario being called 'mid tier' is iffy. Depends on whether you think the current 'upper mid tier' deserves to be considered mid tier or not.
WHOBO 4 and 5 were MK-banned, which is a different metagame entirely and thus you shouldn't be using the same tier list terminology (ie "mid tier") in such results. Granted, DK Ike and Ness are all probably still mid tier in the WHOBO ruleset metagame, but I doubt Seagull was referring to MK banned results in his statement anyway.
It wouldn't make sense for him to be referring to MK banned results AND for him to consider 9th "top 10" AND for him to still consider Wolf mid-tier in an MK-banned metagame because he himself got 9th at an MK-banned national with Wolf lol, and so he'd be completely contradicting himself. Give him the benefit of the doubt
