Just for fun, remember the first tier list? Remember how the meta has developed? We always see where numbers move from the last tier list, but how about where they moved from the very beginning to now? Here's a cool way to see how the tier list evolved, thoughts? I'll probably format it a tad better later and put on some cool facts I noticed.

Why did jump up after being VERY consistent in her placement in version 6 and 7 only to be brought down exactly where she was in version 8?
Any reason for to be slowly climbing lately?

And one final question: I've noticed trends of certain characters fluctuating and moving up or down as the stagelist has narrowed that were good on many of the stage being banned. Is it just my imagination, or has that really happened?

I know of a handful of competitive Peach players but who the hell plays Fox, GW, Pit or Kirby anymore? Peach really isn't that underplayed, especially compared to the characters around her on the tier list. Even DDD, Pikachu or Lucario aren't played more than her.

Pretty sure Peach has only dropped because her MK/Snake/Marth matchups, and the others above her don't have that many crippling Matchups (except Fox; ICs, Pikachu and Olimar are pretty bad, but he holds his own against most of the other Top Tiers)

I like how Lucario basically hasn't moved at all. It's more like the characters around him are moving. All the gimmick characters like DDD and game and watch going down over the years and characters like ZSS, Olimar, and Icys after people discovered all there good ****.

It's sad, but we've learned all that there is too learn when it comes to Lucario. It's just a matter of how good are players rep him now. He's a character that thrives offa just flat out fundementals.

The OTHER thing that's remarkable is each new high-level Peach player brought new and interesting technology and style to Peach. Seriously, FEW OTHER characters in Brawl have been explored or developed as much as Peach. She's probably the most robustly developed character in mid tier.

That's because the Olimar and Diddy Kong players don't fall.

Yeah I agree, gnes never quit and ADHD hasn't been placing significantly worse overall or been significantly less active lol

Ha. It's like she has so many gimmicks, even if your aware of all of em, it's still a genuine mix up.
She's got other stuff going for her too though. Awesome outta shield options, and safe on block moves are nothing to scoff at.

I respect ZSS players.

Lol ZSS doesn't have "awesome OoS options". A few solid ones, sure, but nothing particularly amazing or safe. Definitely sub-par shield options, at least in comparison to the rest of top tier.
