My best guess at moment is you manage to get out of the nado just enough that Snake can do something for a frame. And that frame is either pulling a nade or turnaround the nade so that when next snake gets hit, he drops the nade into the nado hitbox.

I can't see it being any more or less complicated than that. Do you imagine it being more complicated or something?

Tbh I thought it had something to do with mk not pressing b hard enough, and you getting a free frame.

I remember shield grabbing nado (for 6 frame grab characters) worked something like that.

Like, nado doesn't have enough Hitstun if they don't mash hard enough, sO you get a free frame to pull a nade out.

You could also DI to the middle of tornado, that is if Snake is thin enough to take advantage of that, I'm almost sure he is.

SDI the first hit to the middle of tornado if you can and airdodge immediately, after that don't bother SDI'ing (MK's tornado is stupid), just gauge where MK is headed and DI the opposite way to reach the eye of the tornado and pull nade. This is probably harder if the tornado is rising but it's been a long time since I did it so I can't say for sure.

AFAIK you actually can't DACUS with default wiichuk controls, unlike other controllers(GCN at least) tap jump actually needs to be off. From there since you need to use a tag anyway, you might as well customize the controls because the default controls are trash

I have a scrub friend who plays snake with wiichuck and he's like... Know how every scrub thinks they wreck?
He wrecks and thinks he sucks. It's beautiful.

Taking him to a tourney tomorrow tho.

But he likes wiichuck and default controls. I'll try and have him switch to GCc after he goes to this tourney an is the only one with a wiimote.

I know it's a double post but i'm not sure if anyone was going to post in this thread.

How is Snake supposed to deal with R.O.B.'s planking? I had to play one at my last tournament, and had a hard time trying to deal with it. o-o

Twisted?

I'm assuming you mean where it's positioned weird...

Ya

1) use nade
2) shield drop nade
3)Pick up nade with "A"
4) don't let go of "A"
5)C-stick to the right or left

hey if u want to beat defensive MK's on smashville

Lay a downsmash on the moving platform and put a C4 there too.

Camp with nades alternating cook times with weak and strong lobs also mix in walking backwards while holding grenades. This works against kirby well too

Is there any kind of trick for getting an f-smash out of a d-throw? I've made the read for it several times, but they tend to be able to shield it every time.

That's because dthrow -> fsmash should not work period.
Every character's DownBackU animation lasts only 37 frames with varying lengths dimensionally and intangibility duration. There might be an exception to the duration of the animation in like 1 or 2 characters (I have not looked up the full list in ages), but other than that, they are 37 frames.

Snake's Fsmash comes out on frame 42 from snake's first possible moment from dthrow. So, there is a 5 frame window to shield. Again, Dthrow -> dsmash should not work period.

I doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

It's a pretty good team. Not as good as wario/gaw or wario/mk but def a viable team.

Typically how it ends up going

Snake has a few options: Stay back set up
Go straight into the fray and cause damage to both opp and himself.

In response to snakes choice wario can

in case of option 1 it's best to float around the snake and punish ppl for trying to get in. Wario's air control and abundance of options from the air combined with snakes tents/traps/tilts makes for a dangerous combination. Also can take this time to get out a bike and/or tires the added range and pressure is helpful.

Sticky on wario is BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOKEN. End of story. Use the sticky fear to facilitate fart opportunities.

Snake goes in and blows everyone up? Use small aerial pokes with fair/dair/bair/tires and make sure to stay safe. Use the fact that they'll be focused on snake to get in your combos/farts/claps.

If snake dthrows in a 2v1 situation just use bite to cover one of the rolls(preferably the better one). if you get the grab as wario Use upthrow or dthrow when everyone is still alive. and fthrow DEPENDENT on the guy's partners position.

Snake upthrow to fart/clap.

Snake ftilts opp shield you FF clap the back of their shield=amazing pressure.

For trollz u can eat grenades near the opponent for a very early kill

Orion lmao when I saw that troll face I already knew.
Fair enough

for the record
in the future dont be a N***** and post in response to people talking about your skill or playstyle or whatever in videos on youtube unless there's a good reason. If you play in a video that's going to be uploaded you either should
A. not respond to trolls/haters
B. not look at the video (or comments)

as annoying as it is, it's part of the game.
