You forget a couple of things when you haven't played in months haha.
I forget a lot of things when I do that autopilot thing. Outside of a match, it's easy to see that Falco has quite a lot of options getting off the ledge. ledge hop -> airdodge, double lasers, reflector, aerial, side B; stand-up, attack, roll, jump, Yet, whenever I am in a match, I only ever use a fraction of those options.

Good thing Snake sucks so much on the ledge to only need to mix-up 2-4 things.

You know that I meant him to be the most fun character when it was said he was the best character.

So what do you all think of Snake's Dtilt and hurtbox?

Seriously, do you like using Dtilt at all over Utilt?

Any advice for landing kill moves? I'm awful at it, I can count on one hand how many Utilt kills I've gotten in the past two days.

Just work people into various situations. A grab to dthrow set-ups for an Utilt attempt. People having to land is another such position. Either by using Utilt against there aerial landing or simply jab -> utilt when in the air are other good set-ups.

Jab -> ftilt gets roughly -1 to +1 frame advantage. If you can get the move to become fresh, then Ftilt2 is a good finisher at slightly above higher percents than Utilt KOs at. Other times you just have to be tricky about getting the KO such as avoid an opponents attack somehow (roll, dodge, walk, run), then retaliate with Utilt.

There is not really a whole lot you can do if situations never present themselves. You have to make sure you can capitalize on situations where you can get KOs with moves if you use the right one.

The better I get, the more I notice myself killing with bair, nades, and uair.

Utilt is generally too obvious, and can be baited and punished. Gotta be a little less conventional.

Anyone have any tips to playing D3's? I've never played the match up yet, and I know I'll be playing it this friday.

^ I think you just have to get lucky and one of the hits has to hit during the I think 2(?) frames he's vulnerable. I've down aired a DDD and he just spotdodge to spotdodged through the whole thing. -_-

Whether Shmot's statement was in direct response to your "punish with ftilt" is questionable.

The match-up against DDD is avoid being grabbed. You avoid damage and being killed.

hey snakes a quick question. when you buffer jab out of dthrow vs MK and he get up attacks, is power shielding it legit? I was talking DSF about it the other day and he said he saw Ally do it awhile back. And the brief testing i did made it seem to work. Im sure you all have done more testing that Ive ever done in regards to dthrow so I wanted to hear all your input. Also it seemed when u dthrow buffer jab Marth if he buffer frolls he gets hit. Just wanted to know if this stuff was legit and if it is written anywhere. I dont see it in the dthrow thread from my boy Susa so.

I feel jab is better in that scenario because you get your ftilt +jab damage, as well as the capacity to block a get up attack or shield grab a get up. Plus if they just stay there u could potentially dair them to oblivion.

I would really like some insight on this dthrow buffer jab business on MK tho.

I think that trying to jab cancel to f-tilt gives Marth enough time to up-b out of it, or at least I remember someone mentioning that before on here.

You can totally hold out jab on spot dodge or what I do is drop a nade in front and roll behind

I would expect there is probably someone that would work on. But, would it really be worth using a Dthrow opportunity with that sort of hard read?
