If we prove one thing, you say it's irrelevant or not important, and whenever it feels like you're in a corner you say "it's all philosophy".

So, I laid low and posted deliberately tiny posts with little to no information backing them up so you could feel like you were in the lead for once and you'd attack them. Once you were in the lead I asked you very plain yes or no questions and you felt confident you could answer them directly.

OS you say that there are only ~6 non MK mains that can beat the top MKs, but you fail to acknowledge that there are plenty of lower level mks that lose to other lower level non-mk mains. He is beatable and the fact that there are non-MKs winning tournaments with the very best MKs in the world attending proves that he is not broken but only the best character in the game. Those two things are different.

Dude...you're just lazy. Stop trying to hide behind an accusation toward OS for having an ulterior motive. If you want to poke and prod at and argument (while being rather cocky about it for reasons I don't understand), you must prepare for the possibility of being slammed at one point and having to work at forming a respectable response that shows you have taken a stand. All I see is sloth and cowardice galore from you.

And OS isn't trying to water down his arguments with loads of fancy words and hollow data, what he's trying to do is fill up your plate with as much food as the plate can hold, so that you don't stay hungry after finishing it.

First of all, lower-level play doesn't matter. Nobody cares if your Link pwned your 8 year old brother and his grade school friends who all use Metaknight.

Second of all, "beatable" is a meaningless term. Akuma and O. Sagat in SF are beatable. Yoda and Nightmare in SC are beatable. That freaky robot dude in the new GG iteration is beatable. No character is practically or theoretically "unbeatable". This is the same logic used (and people still do this, after how many discussion threads of me pouncing on it?) when people blurt out that a matchup is 100-0. No such thing, unless your controller is unplugged before the game begins and you aren't allowed to plug it back in.

By saying he would make less money, you're implying that either

A) meta brings home the bread or

B) the game dies.

I think A is true and false in that meta DOES bring home bread, but I'm willing to bet that OS would win as much if meta was banned and he switched back to rob.

As for B, what I and I think OS are assuming is that the game will live longer if meta gets banned and thus he'd make more dough in the long run. Meh :/

In our private conversations he has admitted that picking up MK has contributed greatly to the amount of money he has been recently making in the Smash tournament scene.
