And about Jiggs, of course she's hard, that's exactly why you won't see her win much at all. If she's so good then why doesn't more people play her? Or is she not as good people make her out to be? I think it's the latter.

Jiggs not winning a lot is because Jiggs is hard and boring, not a good combination to be a popular character choice.

Since when does character popularity=character quality anyway? See Falcon.

I think Falco beats her, I think Falcon beats her too.. I used to think Ganon beat her too but it's a bit Jiggs advantage due to better setups in general and easy edgeguarding... though it's still really close. As for reasonings for other characters I can't really say since I have no XP but at least I won't go off saying my opinions on things based on what I only saw.

None of the major nationals are gonna have a Fox win at them because the Fox players are simply not at the same level of Dr. Peepee, Armada, etc. And nobody will count Mango.

That's all there is to it.

If people want to attribute it to "Fox sucks" then they can feel free to, though.

To reiterate, I don't think tournament results display anything beyond rough power levels of the characters. I think "who's winning the whole darn thing" is based more off people being better and a lot of personal and individual factors than "PP won? I guess Falco is slightly better than Fox".

I think this is a relatively poor outlook. What's the point of even discussing match-ups or anything then if you can just say "oh well the match-up could change in the future" or something? What you say isn't incorrect; we could indeed find a counter with a character to one of the major disadvantages in a match-up that could sway it in our favor, but what could happen is relatively irrelevant when we're discussing things in the present tense.

Additionally, opinions aren't inherently bad or good, but I do think that you tend to have relatively weak argumentative support to your own opinions here on the boards, regardless of whether or not they're solidly supported through years of high level gameplay experience. I think you'd have a much better reputation if you'd support your opinion well more often, Kage.

I think Peach vs Marth is in Peaches favor just because Marth has such a hard time killing her and Peach has a projectile, also Peach combos, kills and edgeguards Marth pretty well

Because no one asks questions, and if they do, I help them personally. Here is more for fun. I did help quite a bit of people through Facebook or Aim.

I have now idea how you came to that conclusion.

I think people overrate results and I have mention it a lot of times on the boards.
Results depending on what chars is popular and also what kind of players is good enough to place high.

Mango did really good with Mario but Mario is still the same char and should not be higher on the list just cause someone play good with him.

If people start to think outside the box I think the tierlist would been a bit different.
It dosen´t take long time after someone pick up a new char before everyone "realize" the char is good.

I honestly said ouff is number 1 back in 05 already to be honest.
(Btw Fox has not that good results if we compare with Falco but I still think Fox is a better char)

I'm not for everyone.

I actually used to think I was morbidly obese (anorexia go go!) but then everyone I dated, had sex with, hooked up with, etc. told me they liked that I felt soft and didn't look like skin pulled tightly over bones so... I lost a lot of motivation to get into shape with vigor (via a combination of heavy dieting and other nonsense; the unhealthy way to get thin, basically).

I'm noticing I feel low on energy a lot lately, though, so I'm probably gonna see about running again. I'm not sure how long it'll last with winter on the way but... oh well.
