It turns out the Nintendo 3DS IS getting a Virtual Console, Game Boy and Game Boy Color games have been announced to be included, with Super Mario Land and Link's Awakening DX being [presumably] confirmed during a conference:

And some pictures for those still doubting the Nintendo 3DS' power (some games look Gamecube-esque, but many of them seem to go beyond what the Wii can do):
The Nintendo 3DS will also come with a 2GB SD card.
I'm really excited now, considering the Wii has the:
-Nintendo Entertainment System
-Super Nintendo Entertainment System
-Nintendo 64
-Sega Master System
-Sega Genesis
-Hudson Turbografx-16
-Hudson Turbografx-CD
-Commodore 64
-SNK Neo Geo
-MSX*
-Arcade [It's mostly Namco, Sega, and Tecmo though]
*=Only in Japan
I think that the Virtual Console system lineup could POSSIBLY look like this at some point:
-Nintendo Game Boy
-Nintendo Game Boy + Super Game Boy mode
-Nintendo Game Boy Color
-Nintendo Game Boy Advance
-Nintendo Virtual Boy (If they don't this, I'll lol, especially if they don't even remake some of the games)
-Sega Game Gear
-SNK Neo Geo Pocket
-SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color (These two are possible, considering the Neo Geo is available for the Wii)
-Namco-Bandai Wonderswan
-Namco-Bandai Wonderswan Color (Namco/Bandai has shown support for the Wii's VC, I think it's possible, though it's definitely a low priority compared to some of the others here)
-Nokia N-Gage (Consdering service will be discontinued this year, I think it wouldn't be impossible for them to port some games over)
-Atari Lynx (Though it wouldn't come out before the Wii got the Atari 2600/7800, if at all)
