The newer ones seem to be less about "OMG STUFF IS FLYING OUT AT ME" and more about adding depth to the picture, I've noticed.
It depends on the process. Avatar's 3D Camera kicked off the 3D revolution, again...problem is, nobody is going through the time and money to use Cameron's technology. Instead, they add a cheap, stupid 3D effect in postproduction. Films like Alice in Wonderland, Clash of the Titans and Last Airbender all had the 3D added in post. What results is a dark, muddy, nasty looking image that looks like a blurry popup book more than anything resembling 3D.
Oh well, at least TRON is using the 3D Camera from the very beginning, so it should be on par with Avatar in that regard...and hopefully a more exciting movie :D .

Supposedly, there is a decent percent of people who can't see 3D properly. I dunno if the statistics are true though. I am starting to like this depth 3D. Gimmick 3D was just so lame.

My parents bought one a long time ago. I don't have any good games for it so I rarely play it (Mario Tenis, Mario Clash, and that Bomberman game), but it's a nice peice of history.

I watched the AVGN review of it, and it looked pretty painful to play. It looked so dorky, only 2nd to the Konami Headset for NES/SNES.
It also has a library of like 8 games.

I just looked at the lineup for the 3DS.
It's so... amazing. I almost cried tears of joy when I saw Chocobo Racing 3D on there. That was one of my absolute favorite games back on the PS.

I thought they said in an interview that the reason there is only one is because the wiring would get in the way of the location for the pad's base. (since there's a gyrometer, motion sensor, stylus opening, wireless transmitter/reciever and screen/button wires imbeded there too, not to mention an area for SD cards.)

Motion Sensor = Direction and speed of movement
(i.e. move to the left, move to the right, move forward, up, down etc. but does not determine the actual direction the device faces)
Gyrometer = Direction and speed of rotation
(i.e. turn to the left, turn to the right, turn up, down sideways, upsidedown, etc. but does not determine the speed that the object itself is moving)
The reason they're two different things is you can rotate an object without it moving in a specific direction, while the opposite is also true, you can move an object without rotating it.
I'll try to find the article that mentiioned the two for the 3DS.

I think everyone, literally everyone that enjoyed Nintendo titles would buy the 3DS. Which only makes Nintendo richer.

The Smash Bros one only was a tech demo of the trophy display, so no 100% confirmation for that yet. (Keep in mind there were also tech demos featuring models of SMG2 and NSMBWii, but obviously those aren't going to be ported, at least not so soon after the releases of them.)

I just realized that the 3DS would be perfect for Dreamcast ports. It has the same exact amount of buttons and even has a similar lay out....
Man, just thinking about being able to play Jet Set Radio, Power Stone, Sonic Adventure 2 or hell, even Skies of Arcadia on the go and in 3D makes me happy.

Anyone think Kingdom Hearts could get on this? Being a Sony thing I'd say never...but a lot of DS titles have been released, and a few GBA. Just sayin' KH has never been my favorite series, but if it was portable I'd play it on the go.
