This just goes to show how beastly Zhu is, and how edge-guarding Falco is super important. Looking back, Zhu would've beaten me alot harder if he hadn't missed those easy bair edge-guards. I also would have done better if I had punished his illusions accordingly. Regardless, this is one tough match-up...and I'm glad I got it recorded so I can hopefully learn from my mistakes and do better in the future.

Don't worry Fox boards, we'll defeat Falco eventually.

very good stuff from raynex, in the match versus peter second stock was obviously amazing and will become very famous.

I noticed KirbyKaze grabs after getting nair-shine (while in the air --> lands after shine -->no lag =D)

^^Yhea the shine's hitstun is cancelled if they touch the ground (if they where shined in the air), which is pretty ********. i hate that >.>

EDIT: I forgot to be on topic and say the vids where amazing. Watched all of them and loved it. :) your grab combos are sooo ****ing sexy, I'm stealing pretty much every combo you did in these vids :laugh:
And I love KirbyKaze uppsmash tech chasing. He just never misses. =O

Shine combos work if they're grounded tho. but since the nair lifts them a little bit from the ground shine->nair is extremly unreliable. it almost never works on floaties and on sheik it won't work anywhere above like 10%, but even before that it is unreliable :(

I like doing Nair->turnaround uptilt or nair->jab->grab.
I really shouldn't jab that much though, jab->grab isn't garaunteed until really high % (and even then they can just cc/asdi down it). Whenever I play good people I always get punished for my jab spamming, it's a bad habit.
I should stick the uptilts instead (and pray the utilt doesn't get shielded at low % >.>)

Nair->grab sounds really good, I should use it more. Does it usually work at low %?

No i wouldn't say jab spamming is a bad habit, but if your opponents adapts to it you have to adapt to his adaption xP

RaynEX, if he always buffers a roll after your jab, couldn't you just run there and grab him?
Or at least keep your pressure going?

I don't think I do anything particularly new or special. I try to be technical + smart more than anything. Adding CCs, decent edge-guarding and combo d.i. to a technical fox is too good. I still have a long way to go before I'm as good as I want to be.

Also: KirbyKaze is ****. Probably one of the gayest Sheiks out there if he plays well.

On the contrary you seem to have a pretty unique Fox that is a lot of fun to watch. You do a lot of creative combos and in general your movement is extremely fast and fluid.

But you need to pick a color (purple) and stay with it!

I usually use green. Red when I'm angry or its a grudge match. Purple if I feel like I'm playing smarter than usual.

lmao I'm such a scrub. I'll use purple cause of the boots.

Yeah dude, nice vids man! I enjoyed watching all of your matches. As for the color, I went back to green. Might as well conform with the rest of the Fox players. Haha. I can't wait to see your other characters. :-)

Oh and no vids yet, cause the ones I recorded came out multicolored for some reason. My lasers/Fire Fox attacks were blue. :S

So I'll have to do another batch. ^^"

I really wish I would have played you at event 52. Your fox vs sheik is very good, and you have pretty much perfect wavedashes
and you ****ign destroyed that falco. your second stock combo was ridiculous

KK and I don't have a ride for CT right now. :(

The reason you don't hit Jman is because he runs away and camps you. lol He tries to emulate intelligent play by using defensive play. its silly.
