Well, of course one can DI these things but honestly if you catch them DIing wrong, that's quite a bit of damage you're going to rack up in a matter of seconds. Don't think the Shory will actually kill a DIing opponent though.

When Luigi does the single jab to something else, you can interrupt the next action with a jab. Or if you're in the air just jump after being jabbed.

I dont think this will change the matchup. I think smash DI can easily interrupt these combo's. (Either smash DI the aerials, or SDI the jab to avoid the up b (?)).

the hits itself were SDI'd, at least I heard that from ssbbmania1 over PM.

also kismet, you gotta consider hitstun.

Jabs don't have hitstun, that's the point, it's just the surprise that makes jabs "combo" into other things

except ike, snake, ganon, those have hitstun

You can jump after the jab so the sweetspotted UpB will miss (not sure). You can Dair weegee after he Dthrows you and besides, if u do get hit, u can still DI that you wont die (not sure)

well in the second falco combo the jab seems quite inescapable, as does the super fire jump punch thingy
I doubt all the hits beeing (S)DI'd..
I really think SDIing luigi's jab will make his up b miss.

nono it's directed to ppl who are responding in general
look at magus' thread, i'm doing schoolwork so i'm too lazy to do it.

edit: nvm, looked it up
just press or buffer with your button known as L or R -__-

luigi has no unblockable upb setup on falco

Ah I see.
That is exactly what I was thinking.
Brawl is too much like Brawl for those combo's to be inescapable.

Yeah, no matchup change. SDI + double jump after the aerials to avoid the most damage, or buffer a shield, which stops the killing blow but still leaves you taking a decent amount of damage.

That's not a combo. You can easily as said before SDI and buffer a shield, or even air dodge. That won't affect the matchup at all.

As just about everyone has said, escapable and therefore no matchup change. Regardless, all these "combos" are sweet looking:laugh:

You can DI + AD the Dthrow, but the second lugi's attack could still hit you...

You can SDI up / away the aerials + DJ very probably, but... Will you have that reflex ? ^^

Anyways, these are really good setups, even if it's not absolutely inescapable.

also if you guys are getting grabbed by wigi at 0 you're not camping or spacing nearly well enough
he's so slide-y...it's pretty easy to push him in shield

And Luigi has very bad range, so you can just sit there with your Ftilt and outrange just about everything he has.

Omg. These people are nubs. Nah j/k. Falco can SDI out of it. Forgot what direction but its in our directory via magus's thread. A jab can pretty much clank with your jab so.... lol.

Falco can just pretty much SDI and double jump out. Luigi IS NOT TRUE COMBO-ER. People get it in your heads that, Luigi is a string-er (meaning he can prety much do strings but ppl can escape it). But then again, most luigis will read any DI what you'll do and take advantage of it.

Oh and japanaese luigi's are crap ^.^

Bait the DI/AD, re-set the situation again with a pivot dthrow grab. Yup. Although this is the best method in escaping luigi's barrage of aerial strings tho. Also in the vid, the shiek was slightly from naked eye, off the ground meaning she'll die abit earlier with the extra vertical height.

Here's magus thread regarding on the inescaping and what direction to DI after a jab.

and just in case your wondering, theres a gawdful amount of options after luigi's dthrow. Doesn't have to be that silly "combo" in the vid ^.^

Wait, so not only do we have a disadvantage in this match-up but know Luigi has a 0-death on us? **** it!

Edit: Nevermind. I thought I was on the Diddy boards.
