Does anyone know the full saying you take the good you take the bad i dont know the rest but anyways towards the point. No one should just disrespect Marth just for his tiara and his girly look. He wears that tiara for a rememberance for his sister Nothing wrong with that. No one should disrespect Ike either cuz oh wow marth was first and Ikes background and character design is bleh to some of you >_>. Id say marth should stay 1) He was in melee 2) He grew really popular 3) From what ive read about Marth the women thinks hes hot >_> 3 reasons for Ike 1)He grew popular in Japan and America 2) He had 2 games 3) Ike seems like a smash character and, 4) I played his game >_> So id really say keep em both but thats just me. Its like calling me dumb when i already know im dumb.

Also, to all of you people talking about (a while back) noble bloodline and all that...you should all watch A Knight's Tale. How do the lords become lords in the first place? They do it because they accomplish something, they get money and establish themselves. So, something about someone becoming a lord without the bloodline is just beginning for him just like all of those lineages went through it at some point.

I have a feeling Ike is going to be slow (Like Roy)... based on my experience playing FE, he just doesn't seem like the one to move very fast... I hope all 3 stay, but Marth isn't going anywhere because Nintendo might get a massive rampage by angry smashers if he isn't... I still wish someone that wasn't a lord got in instead of Ike (Raven/Guy/Jaffar ftw)... Ike's final smash should be summoning/becoming Black Knight XD... Again, I think Ike will be a power character, but we'll let Nintendo surprise us more...

It's funny though. I don't like Ike very much, but when I saw his picture on the update I was like, " Oh, wow. He looks good in those screenshots."

And I like Fire Emblem so of course I'm going to use him.

Marth should be in as well as Ike since Marth stared in the first of the series and if he doesn't I guess I'll just use Ike since FE is my favorite game series.

Personally, I'd rather any FE Lord other than Marth. The kid had stats that capped at twenty. Sothe (Theif kid from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. Nearly useless because he didn't promote) had stat caps of twenty. Marth's whiny little pansy personality doesn't do him any favors either. (for those of you whove watched Neon Genesis Evangelion, think Shinji Ikari. Right down to the father issues).

His SSBM personality is similar to his personality in the second game. As for his stats, well SSBM proves that they really didn't care about his stats since he is arguably the second best in SSBM.

Yes, Marth looks like a pansy, but you shouldn't really hold it against him. He was created in the 80's when looking like a girl was COOL. His original design didn't even have pants... still, you'd be hard pressed to find a video game hero from the 80's who DID have pants.

If you really want to see some goofy looking characters, look at the original designs of Link or Pit. Can you say panties?

I know hes my favorite lord eva!!! I hope to god and sakurai he doesnt turn out slow and stupid but fast and strong at the same time and his tip and middle of his hit box are good >_> but im asking to much then again in his game his hits consist of light vertical attacks which possibly make his a fast character i hope. Oh and his best attacks like aether and when he just does lunar by itself are mostly jumping i bet he will probly have good air game dont you think people?

Hmm. I gotta agree with you sonic. That is the symbol of the falcion and thats what the falcion looks like too. i gotta say you bring up a good point. Marth does have a really high chance. For one fire emblem is one of the biggest games in japan and america and 2 look at mario hes popular there peach bowser luigi and doc and for the kirby fans they added more people. But theres an exception to my conclusions they are old style characters and FE characters are newer then mario but FE characters arent not much newer to the world then mario but then again.. and as for kibry characters theres something wrong with my conclusion about them.They gotta put more then 1 character for each game to be in brawl. please tell me whats wrong with this please!

Marth is BA. He's one of the most liked and most used characters in melee and I would be very surprised if he did not make the cut for brawl. Also Ken, #1 in the world, uses Marth. So I'd say Marth has a great chance for being in brawl. But I do agree that Ike looks like a total BA and has a great chance of shadowing Marth in brawl. I'm looking forward to using both characters.
