So I was playing some friendlies the other day. Did so many fairs, about 48 of them in one match, most landed. I also did few nairs that match. Felt a lot like '08 for the most part. But then I got to thinking after Blubo's game in the critique thread. I myself never really learned when is it safe to approach/how to space well with nairs and fairs. It's probably in the guide, but I haven't really looked into it that much. This is also a good time to start thinking about revisions to the guide.

Congrats Ussi on having a better attention span than me.

For me, rule of thumb is... if I'm going to land in front of them and Nair will be punishable at that spacing, I normally double jump and
1) react to their whiffed attack and FF nair straight onto them
2) reset better spacing for Nair
3) super fast FF AD and grab or jab (or pivot jab/grab if you land behind them)
4) get read on double jump and get hit midair =[

All has to do with what you think opponent will do and what opponent thinks you will do.
However, the first part is all recognizing AS SOON AS YOU JUMP TOWARDS THEM, BEFORE YOU INPUT A NAIR, whether you will land in good spacing or not.

The crew battle from our tourney last weekend, skip ahead to around 9:46 if you don't feel like watching the lead-up. Just watch that match between the Sheik and Luigi.

WARNING: Commentary gets loud, don't have your volume up too high, lol. Croi and I did most of the commentary and it was mainly just silly since the tourney was already over.

Misae's route is surprising quick. All i had to do was pick 3 choices and that was the ending =_=;

Just like Fuuko, her route is a supernatural one too :\ it was a textbook tragedy I would say, so not that interesting.. but there was some comedy in it that I did chuckle quite a bit on.

Working on Yukine now. Then probably Tomoyo, girl whose name is 1 letter different than the protagonist Tomoya xD

I did Koumura's and Kappei's paths just now, I was really just grinding those with a guide since those aren't really in my interest. However both endings are quite enjoyable to read/watch and a good break from the romance, or well main character romance in Kappei's case

Afterwards, once I'm done BF shopping I'll return where I left off with Yukine-chan~ ehehehe

Yukine's route wasn't even choices I think..I had her name as the date before the big choices showed up... choices felt... obvious too.. Yukine does have a brother complex.. so choices felt obvious... felt like Da Capo, just show up and you win

I finished Tomoyo's route now. Oh i loved this story, it was touching to be a part of it. Probably my favorite route in Clannad now. Still hard to decide who i'd pick between Kyou or Tomoyo though as my favorite heroine.

Now to do Kotomi and Nagasi and i'm off to after-story

Because getting killed by eruption should be one of the more embarrassing things that happens to an opponent. Or building up damage so you can kill them with a d-throw.

That was the first time I've taunted in... I don't even know how long, a year? Not counting doubles friendlies. I guess it was mainly due to the crowd reaction at the time, wanted to appease my fans.

Edit: Lol, I got a Dthrow KO in a friendly at that tourney. Trolled the guy by using nothing but Jab 1 and 2 until he was at like 260%.

No matter what he's up against, no matter how far he has to travel, no matter how scared he may be, he always faces it head-on like a man.
Even when he's completely alone and unarmed on a strange planet, he keeps fighting.

EDIT: I'm not saying Ike isn't manly. I've played through Path of Radiance at least twenty times and Radiant Dawn at least ten, so I'm very aware of what he's done. ^^;
He's a good leader, just like Olimar.

EDIT 2: OHHHHHHHH, I remember now! Ussi, the one that recently picked up Hisoutensoku!

However, Kotomi I'm going to learn about now. Only seen her in one scene ever in the VN so far o.o;;

EDIT: Well, Kotomi ... has no self-confidence it seems either.. well in anything that doesn't pertain to books.. and lacks common sense >_> seems like she's been bullied too which probably attributed to that..

Yes, i do this. Some of our players are so good at just not dying that killing with d-throw actually become a decent surprise option
