I never keep jabbing the front of a shield. It just screams GRAB ME! If I can't really read what they're going to do next, I will normally space a Nair after jabbing a shield.

Grab armor in the form of non mutual attacks is not port based at all. Every character but olimar has grab armor if you grab on the same frame the attack hits you. This is a lot easier to accomplish if the grab / hurt box is long / extended (in the case of dedede). This is why it's not necessarily a bad thing to harass the **** out of olimar's shield assuming your attack is long enough because you can pop olimar out of grabbing you if you threw an attack on/before the same frame he managed to grab you (11 the earliest, right?)

4:31, grab armor is some BS at times.

Grab armor with regards to mutual hits (the most common being grenades) give priority to the highest port, but that's common knowledge.

LOL, Slaps, he grabbed you on last stock twice and tossed it away (literally) both times right in a row. Dang. Doesn't he still main the climbers too? GJ on giving him the loss he deserved, Slaps.

yeah, i just don't know why he was trying the fancy stuff like foot stool to ice block, i probably coulda teched spike into ground to avoid ice block... but yeah, it was intense for me XD.. I really mainly used Fair, and jab, occasionally i would do Bair and Nair but idk just doesn't feel safe vs a character that 1 grab=death most the time XD... Even when separated i usually try and keep it that way rather than fsmash and all that nonsense lol.. unless nana is running through me i can fsmash XD.. he seemed smash happy toward the end trying to kill me lol...

That's actually the least fancy chaingrab there is and is there for people who don't have the timing/tech skill to do a straight 0-death in a single grab. If he ****ed that up then he's just doing it all sorts of wrong.

Yeah. I noticed he did that to turn around at the edge because he knew he'd miss the Bthrow.

Kinda sad. If ICs were my main, I would not drop a lot of chain grabs.

Just had some friendlies with Cristina. Some were lulzy and some were serious business. Last match at Castle Siege was fun . I think we got pretty even more or less though I'm not entirely sure. I think I lost more than I won.

Also: I was actually waiting for a friend's response to see if he wanted to play with me, but you asked and I was like: "Meh, He probably isn't gonna answer so I might as well play Cristina."

So I did a bit of testing, and found out that the knockback boost when hitting an opponent charging a smash is in fact very considerable. A flashing Eruption will not KO Mario at 0% if used on the very top platform of Battlefield, even with no DI. If flashing Eruption is used on Mario at 0% while he is charging a smash however, it will KO him from the main stage level (no DI). That's a pretty freaking huge difference.

It will KO Jigglypuff from the center of BF's main stage even with DI (there isn't even time for Jiggs to momentum cancel as far as I've been able to tell). Lmao, Brett we should have had Jiggs charge a smash when we did that 999% flashing Eruption test. Would have taken like half an hour longer.

The biggest use i get off people charging smashes is that if I dair them before they get a usmash off cause i predicted they would try to charge it. Any other time people shooooould be spacing it that i'm gonna land into it.....

Nothing significant, Niddo's argument on how it's only logical they boost a few mentioned characters in the same way PT was boosted has no affect on them... Or any of the others arguing their character too.

Despite ZSS, Ike, Ness, and some others i don't really care to remember are repping well, just means the character is popular and the player is significantly on a higher level.

I think I'm starting to get a handle on the falco MU more though, and I don't think the MU is too bad.

Yah, you can basically see how it all went down by skimming through the last 3-4 pages of Ashu's. The only detail left out is that it was an admin who closed the thread, not me. I likely would have locked it anyways because as much as I wholeheartedly disagreed with Arturo, I was really starting to just get tired of his arguments...

But we've moved on to happier times now, it's all good.

As I found out reading the BBR's topic about ZSS. Apparently, that logic of "One person doing well = rise in tier list" works for PT, Falcon, and Ness, but it won't work for ZSS, Luigi, Ike, and Ness a second time. Go figure. I still suspect that Ike will at least end up above Lucas at a minimum next tier list, I've seen a couple BBR members say that Ike should be mid tier. At least it's a sign that San is starting to get to them.

I highly doubt it. Otherwise, that would require dropping the characters they pushed up last time. I don't see them dropping Falcon and PT anytime soon. Though Pit will likely drop. I love how that one BBRer basically backhanded the people who voted Pit so high last tier list in the Pit BBR topic. :D
