edit: btw, the bus station we'd be arriving at is a 4 min drive from the venue. If we go overnight, we save $10, and will reach the venue a half hour early. Alternatively, we sleep at cactuar's friday night. Arrive at the station at 9:55pm, then find our way to his place.

Now that that's sorted out, we just need to buy the tickets and we're good.

So, I downloaded uTorrent, how do I generally know which files are safe? Is there a numerical range? Don't want my laptop getting ***** by Trojans.

avoid things like .exes and programs like photoshop and stuff, and you should be fine. i don't think they ever have complicated viruses anyway, more like simple removable things, and only on stuff like the above.

also, torrent files as a whole are generallly really safe

if you go to sites that have forums built in, they usually come with reviews from others who have downloaded sites so those increase credibility

i dunno, not right now. i have real life stuff to do. it's hard too 'cause my mom works during the week, so i can only host on weekends, and it's a lot easier to end up being busy for like 4 or 5 weekends in a row.

but if not before the summer, then definitely during the summer.

yup.

torrents i actually have gotten viruses from:

-photoshop for pc
-photoshop for mac (this one made me laugh; it was just so kirsty didn't have to look for it...why would you put a pc virus on a mac torrent?)
-super meat boy (not the install file itself, but the uninstall and the .nfo readme, for some reason...unless malwarebytes was wrong or something)
-something else along the lines of photoshop that i can't remember

jack, i hate to say it, but most of the 'nice and forgiving' players have been melee and most of the 'angry and wanting money' players have been brawl. i don't mean to reinforce stereotypes, but it's kind of a pretty clear dividing line in this case.

also i have photoshop anyway, got it from a friend recently. not that i'm ever gonna use it for anything interesting.

i've been trying to figure out what its mouth parts come from. otherwise it looks like a tarantula bee. with...claws...on the ends of all its legs.

actually its mouth looks like a cactus.

We had camel spiders in Nevada. They're actually 8 legged, the two ones in front are antennas.
They make such a mess when they get crushed.
