You should do what I do while waiting for the Login Queue and go to the forums to make a thread to complain about a character and then delete the thread because you question the validity of even bothering. :(

My opinions from seeing Ahri thus far...

THAT ***** ****ING KITES TOO ****ING WELL OMFG.

Kites too ****ing well = I can't ****ing jump and **** her with Irelia
*sad face*
Too bad she needs to like.. jump in to do any real damage with 2 of her spells, and her other 2 long range skills are easily dodge able. She has unreliable CC and an unreliable nuke, not that strong imo. AP ratios are meh.

She's too mobile not to be good at some point in time. Mobile burst caster. She'll be good eventually.

Oh, wait, I just realized I misread Ahri's passive. I thought the stack per hit scaled with level (as in, 1 per hit at early game, 2 per hit mid, 3 per hit late).

And everyone's inferior when compared to Morgana :/ at least in my eyes.

At least Ahri looks like she's around 16 years old. That really hooked the players to Irelia.

Or, you know. Short cooldown, high damage, high mobility, lane sustain, and short-term CC.

Sounds familiar. But at least she doesn't use Energy.

She has mana costs. It's not the gayness known as Kennen/Akali with revolver. If she used "Ki" or some life force instead, yeah she might be broken.

Right after Ahri hit in my 2nd game with some friends I ended up crashing 3 times when the screen would sort of just freeze with these sort of skinny blue S's being all over the screen (can still see the majority of the screen though).

I'm curious to if anyone else has had this happen to them. When I get home I'm going to try updating my video card and see if that fixes it. I feel like either my video card conveniently broke right when the patch hit or the patch sort of broke my game. The first game I played after the patch was fine though, so I'm not really sure what's wrong just yet.

How to play Xerath:

1. Play safe

2. Get a few safe kills for free, snowball out of control

3. Have massive range with the only downside taken care of with a competent team that can protect you

4. Massive damage with fairly easy CC combo means you can get dem ****ers

5. LIGHTNING BEAM EVERYWHERE

EVERYWHERE

He's boring to play imo. Lots of range, lots of damage. Lots of free useful stats. Hardest decision is whether to Q Left or Right. Which gets taken care of for you if you do E to Ult to Q to Ult

As far as arranged goes, Xerath is really strong. Great damage scaling etc and incredibly safe for a caster. If you want gay **** that's strong, go play him.
Xerath is so easy. Once you start one hitting ranged minions with your q you have freedom to roam.

The one thing I see a lot of Xerath players do that annoys me is getting things that don't mesh well with his play style. Xerath fights at stupid ranges so aura items like WOTA and Abyssal are not optimal. Also, grabbing ignite is generally a bad idea because you have to get too close to use it.

Also, his penetration is % based when he is sieged. Aside from flat reduction from runes for early levels, I find most flat penetration to be less useful on him. I definitely prefer CDR boots (or in some cases merc treads) to be a much better purchase than sorc shoes.

I usually get 2-3 d rings, CDR boots, DeathCap, voidstaff/rylais, whatever defensive item makes sense.

Jungle Malphite OP.

I see a lot of Xeraths miss entire combos because they don't account for Seige Mode time. Hella annoying. Just unseige to get close and combo to death plz.

Most of the time, I will make sure to hit the e first to set up the stun and then seige.

Another thing I have realized is that when you are pre-6 you get a better use of your mana if you don't go for stun combos and just try to hit the occasional q. E doesn't do enough damage to justify its mana cost at early levels especially if you miss the combo. You spend 130+ mana and the only guaranteed damage is the e which I only have one level in before level 6. I prefer to just spam 120-170 damage lasers.

Hitting the stun basically only gets you a free auto attack. Of course if your jungler is ganking then you definitely want to hit the stun combo.

I don't build a ton of mana with Xerath and rely on early drings and blue.

I noticed that, too. I mainly just poke at them when they try to last hit a creep, or out of fog of war for ****s and giggles.

I feel like TF requires an odd skill set to play correctly. I don't play him well myself, but I find you need a different positioning mindset than most APs and ranged ADs.
