Yorick destroys Kennen. Not only does he have safe, long range, targeted harass, he also has a lot of sustain and his ghouls block skillshots (and Kennen has none until revolver/WotA) :\ If you want to straight up kill him/force him away you need a really strong level 1-3. Otherwise you need someoen sustainable.

Kass vs Morg only works if Morg isn't very smart. She can just super push lane with puddle early for big lead b/c Kass can't last hit very well under tower, and can avoid silence easily pre-6.

Ryze vs Sion should go to Ryze.

If Nid was AD she would lose to Tryndamere. Mocking shout = - 100 AD and then even her execute does no damage, not to mention he's incredibly sustainable w/o mana restrictions.

i can see kennen vs yorick going either way tbh, although kennen should be able to out sustain yoricks damage after revolver
morg vs kass should be in morgs favor, but it should be more of a farm fest until kass gets blue and can q harass through morgs shield

The thing about Ryze vs Sion is that the Ryze player needs to be much more on point than the Sion to beat him, since you need to stay out of stun range but be close enough/ready to use your QWQ to break his shield asap.

Not sure if you can pressure trynd enough early game to make him lose just by not having as much farm, but trynd deeeeefinitely trades better once he gets a wriggles. It's over by then if you haven't shut him down already IMO.

his ult is the best defensive steroid in the game and gives him tons of free AD

and he has a free gap closer/knockback, combined with aoe hard CC and a cheap heal that keeps him in lane forever

and he has a free cleanse and can literally walk through your team

and he's ****ing annoying solo top

I think Teemo and Rumble are both amazing choices against Trynd. Rumble just has to play safe until Revolver before he starts going in hard but it's easy for him to avoid trading with Trynd if he has shield + Harpoon to kite him.

As some one who has played more games as Tryn than one ought to, I can say Teemo poops on Tryn super hard: range, blind (with exhaust) and shrooms just completely wreck everything in Tryn's kit

Rumble vs Tryn is deceptive. Assuming he goes cloth 5, you would have a massive movement advantage on him early levels if you go boots, but you shouldn't actually have the damage to threaten him until later. Anything below level 5 and you shouldn't be beating him that bad (if he gets a crit on you or turns on you after you shield, you can definitely get ****ed up)


Rumble has to play more careful and patiently than you'd think for a lot of melee top MU's. He's strong vs passive farmers like Nasus. People that can leap in and fight him back it's a LOT harder. Or people that only need to play passive for a bit and then tend to do well like Irelia.

Rumble can actually go in hard on Irelia though. It's one of her worst matchups, actually.

Rumble can't fight Trynd early because of that stupid crit, but if you just wait for him to spin in you can harpoon him a couple times and get out without eating many if any auto attacks. Once you get that revolver you can heal off his harass, and once you get WotA you just straight up murderize him imo.

instead it's, "hey, my flamethrower has 100% uptime and I have ghost + damage shield in 1 spammable ability so no one can ever trade with me!"

yea man, Rumble has it tough top lane -_-.

Ryze top is overrated, people just don't know to CP Jarman and EQ on his face.


EDIT: I also just remembered that I got a Quadra on Maokai in that game last night. Suck it Dphat!

I've found Rumble to by a pretty annoying champion to deal with, I'm just really glad that not many people have picked him up yet. The bane of my league experiences ever since I started playing has probably been Nidalee. The only move I really dislike on her is Pounce.

Pounce is mad frustrating.

Rumble is most vulnerable at the very early levels when Flamespitter doesn't do much and while his AP is still low. Once Rumble starts getting **** then he becomes completely ********. But I already said that Mogwai is biased b/c Rumble hard counters all of his good top laners, haha.

The only reliable stats that representing carrying are gold earned and CS and I beat Zoso in both those categories, get on my level! How do you even let yourself get KSed 4 times in one fight by a maokai with hexdrinker as Ramble anyway?

Pounce is mad frustrating.

I think it's pretty hilarious to fight against once you understand how its pathing works in a deeper sense. Like, if you try really hard, you can sometimes totally eliminate pounce and swipe from her damage output during trades. It's pretty funny discouraging people from going into cougar during laning for anything but jumping away.

For example, if you q at her with Irelia just as she pounces, your hitbox dodges an immediate swipe afterwards, so if they know about that, you can force her to pounce->autoattack (to get her facing away from the direction) -> then swipe.

And then there's more layers of depth in regards to that sort of interaction.
